As much as I love having 4 quality starters, somebody has to provide the run support. Utley and Howard in particular need to bounce back, and the Phils can still use some right-side power. I love the Phils, but I'm not popping any corks quite yet.

Of course, the Phils had all those problems last year (Werth didn't scare anyone for 2/3'rds of the year, Rollins was bad all year, and Romero was in the bullpen) and the Phils still somehow won 98 games and Oswalt was only here for the last two months and Lee wasn't here at all. I'm thinking the Phils are going to be just fine.

I was just low-balling it. In reality, they're almost a lock for at least 95 games and another division title. They might get 100, and they certainly have enough to do so. But I'll take another division title and home field advantage even if it's less than 100 wins.

It's the best kept secret in the Twins organizaton, is he or isn't he. They say he is, but we'll find out soon when Spring Training starts. Morneau cancelled his Twinsfest appearance at the end of January, probably because he would get bombarded with questions about his playing status.

While I agree, I will say Pujols is the best player in baseball and deserves to be compensated as such... MLB NEEDS a salary cap, and until a real salary cap is instituted... and im not talking the kind like the NBA has where theres enough loopholes that allowed the Knicks to sit about $80 million over the cap for a few years, the salaries will only continue to get out of hand.
