We've had a lot of Hawaii dudes especially during the Don Read era. You are thinking of Brian Ah Yat. We also had a lot of recievers like Elu Kahne and I believe Shalon Baker was from Hawaii also. I've forgotten a few names off the top of the head but there are many.grizzaholic wrote:We had a guy from Hawaii once.....hell...what was his name again?????? Pretty sure he was a QB too. Not to sound like an overconfident dick, but UD acted as if they hadn't seen a team from a passing conference all year.kalm wrote:I was told by a poster on GoHens before the chipper that since 85% of our roster was from the State of Washington, there was not enough talent in the pick overs from a state like Washington for us to match theirs and we would lose.

No big deal Brian, I forget people's names all the time. It comes to me later when I'm not giving a shit about it.
