Greatest Quarterback Ever!
Tom Brady has completed another impressive season, in some ways much more impressive than his 2007 season.
Brady broke his own NFL record for TD to INT ration with a 9 TD to 1 INT ratio this season, that breaks his 6.25 ratio from 2007. No other QB in history has a ratio over 6 for a season.
Brady has an active NFL record streak of 335 consecutive passes without an INT, this record will continue with next seasons season opener.
Brady completed his 5th 8-0 home record in his ninth full season (excludes 2008 when he played 2 series all season, includes 2001 when Drew Bledsoe started first two games of the season.). He was perfect at home in 2003, 2004, 2007, 2009, 2010.
Brady becomes the first QB to lead a team to four 14+ win seasons.
Brady this week will win his second NFL MVP award in what could be a unanimous decision (Michael Vick deserves lots of credit for his great season, but voters will have a hard time justifying a vote for Vick when he missed four of his teams games, while at the same time Brady has done what he has done.)
Brady improved his regular season record to 111-32 and will look to improve upon his 14-4 career playoff record.
With his MVP win this week, Brady will become the first player to win multiple regular season and Super Bowl MVPs.
Brady became the 6th quarterback in history to throw at-least one touchdown in each game of the season, shockingly, he didn't accomplish that in his 50 TD 2007 season.
Brady led his team to an NFL record 8 consecutive games scoring at-least 30 points, this ties his own record he shares with Kurt Warner (2000 Rams) Brady will look to break this tie in next September's season opener.
Brady extended to nine games his consecutive games streak of throwing at-least 2 touchdowns and 0 INT. He has not been picked off since late in the 5th game of the season against Baltimore.
Brady led a team that set an NFL record by only turning the ball over 10 times all season, the previous record was 13.
Brady led a offense that threw a NFL record low 5 INT (Brady 4, Hoyer 1)
I could go on and on.

Easily the best player in the league. Going to go down as the best of all time. NO ONE is beating the Pats this year. Spreads should be double digits against everyone they play in the playoffs.

Give me a freaking break. Even the bloody Iggles have had a QB better than Brady.eagleskins wrote:Easily the best player in the league. Going to go down as the best of all time. NO ONE is beating the Pats this year. Spreads should be double digits against everyone they play in the playoffs.
NO ONE is beating the Pats this year? Uh, have you checked the schedule? The Pats have ALREADY lost. Twice. They lost in Week 2 at the Jets (28-14) and in Week 9 at Cleveland (34-14). Those losses look pretty convincing. The freaking BROWNS?!? They finished 5-11 and just fired their coach. And the close calls? Three were at home. Week 6 at home vs. Baltimore (23-20), Week 7 @ SD (23-20), Week 11 vs. the Dolts (31-28), and Week 15 vs. Green Bay (31-27). If this were college hoops, that 14-2 wouldn't look so convincing.

Re: Greatest Quarterback Ever!
I think T has a bit of a mancrush here, but Brady's numbers are hard to argue with (probably the Justin Beiber haircut Tommy's sporting these days
). There aren't a ton of stars on the team, just good solid execution week after week. Brady is probably in my top 5 all time.
Re: Greatest Quarterback Ever!
I don't think there is a "Greatest QB Ever" I think there are great QB's during their time. Johnny Unitas, Bart Starr,Fran Tarkenton, Roger Staubach, Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana, Jim Kelly, Dan Marino etc....were great durning their time, as Brady is now. Could Brady have played in the 60's or 70's? No way, he would be crying like a little bitch like he is now to have the Ref's protect him. Stats don't all ways show the whole picture wildcat.

Are you referring to Cunningham, Jaworski or McNabb, not that it matters cause not a one of those three comes close to Brady.SuperHornet wrote:Give me a freaking break. Except that Jaworski played back when defenses were allowed to cover the receivers and the QB's didn't wear skirts.UNHWildCats wrote:Are you referring to Cunningham, Jaworski or McNabb, not that it matters cause not a one of those three comes close to Brady.SuperHornet wrote:

Brady is great (and belongs in the discussion of the best of all time), but it's hard to compare because he's not playing by the same rules that the older guys did.
I still say Joe Montana is the best QB I ever watched. I'd also take Elway and Marino ahead of Brady.

Good QB to compare as of right now both had played a similar amount of games. And I know the game is different now but still I dont see much of an argument here.. Brady is the clear better QB
Games: Brady 145, VB 140
Comp %: Brady 63.6%, VB 53.6%
TD/INT: Brady 261/103, VB 173/178
QB Rating: Brady 95.2, VB 75.1
Yards: Brady 34,744, VB 23,611
Championships: Brady 3, VB 1

Actually, I blew it (again). This isn't a pic of my teammate Graham Leigh (who wore #13 with UOP in '95 but switched to #7 when he took New Mexico to the Insight.com Bowl under that traitor Dennis Franchione.SuperHornet wrote:Graham Leigh? I could go for that.tampajag wrote:best QB:
