EWU has a tradition of banging on the ANYTHING (ex. locker) in the locker room after a win. So if EWU scored 42 points in the win, everybody bangs the locker 42 times. Its loud & a lot of fun. ESPECIALLY after a close/important win.
EWU has another tradition of singing the 'Go, Eagles, Go' song to the EASTERN fans after a win.

Old Dominion's only been playin' for two years, but we do have the Monarch March where the players walk from the practice facility to the stadium (which are on opposite sides of campus, both east/west and north/south so it truly is a walk through campus). A lot of schools have this though.
Another "tradition" we have is selling out every game so far (14).
At the entrance to our EZC there is the 'Bill Miller Victory Ball" All the players touch it on their way in, on gameday.
(Bill Miller 1931-2006- Coach with second longest tenure - 15 yrs - and best w/l record. Orchestrated the 2 DII NC's by hiring Jim Wacker. Was the AD for 18 yrs - 1975-1992 - and took TXST from DII to DI.)
Other than that I would have to say losing is a traditon
Most of you are aware that Montana has the tradition of winning, singing the fight song after a victory and gouging season ticket holders to see a weak a$$ D-2 opponent on an annual basis.
But very few people know about the traditions of Montana being Loud, Cold, playing 8 "rivalry" games per year and of course the tradition that is the piece de' resistance...............................
a) the old dilapidated yellow school buses the team rides to the stadium while singing the "valley song"
b) the uniforms
c) "One more time"
d) "GATA"
e) the double slot triple option offense
f) the flag pole
g) walkons
h) "Do right"
i) Beautiful Eagle Creek
Losing big leads and big games.
Losing to teams we should annihilate.
"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

A good one. Had a chance to be there for it last year, and it's nice the way they walk through all the stuff going on around campus.
