Former FCS Player named NFL Player of the Week

Post by GoSE »

New England Patriots offensive guard Dan Connelly was named NFL Special Teams Player of the Week following his 71 yard kickoff return. Connelly was a four year starter at Southeast Missouri State University. :D

And I hope he'll be able to play this week...he suffered a concussion in that same game...

I'd like to know where his blockers were at the end of that play. As awesome as that story was, it would have been infinitely better had he been able to score. He was SO close....

What is it with the Patriots and awesome special teams plays, anyway?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

I'm sure Travis would be happy to start twelve threads explaining that.

12 sounds good. One from the perspective of each ST player and the 12th from the perspective of the ST coach.

Hey Travis, I see you added a smack down of the messiah to your sig. What gives, not radical enough for you? Not moving us to a socialistic country fast enough for you?
