Not so much, but I will have one slice of fruitcake at Christmas.93henfan wrote:And here's where the hijack really snowballs, but does anyone still eat mincemeat? Blech!

You do realize they're in a bowling alley...right?

Big difference between a 20,000 seat stadium and a 1,200 capacity bowling center

Re: Predict the attendance for the first Frisco NCG
Best available a little bit ago through the NCAA site was section 123 which is down around the 10 yard line 16 rows back. Didn't really look into what's going on with the EWU alottment, but according to UD ticket officials they've been very busy filling orders. Those UD fans dissinterested in putting up with the UD pecking order have gone through Pizza Hut Park. According to some on GoHens, the guy at Pizza Hut park said they've been surprised at the large number of ticket requests received. Most nearby hotels are a challenge to find a room in because of bookings.
I don't know for sure what all of this means, but I don't think these are bad signs for attendance.

The Blue & Gold should be a real nice turnout for the season's crowning moment.

Too bad you aren't joining a basketball league. You could be the "Dribbling Seamen".

Should be an interesting dynamic. We'll obviously bring way more than EWU, but will the native Texass's turn against us? After all, we're a blue state, and while Washington is too, Texans are too stupid to realize it because they think it borders Sarah Palaska.bluehenbillk wrote:The Blue & Gold should be a real nice turnout for the season's crowning moment.
It may turn out being 50/50 by the time the red staters turn for the red team.

Yup!

Re: Predict the attendance for the first Frisco NCG
Word is that EWU has either sold it's ticket allotment, or come very close. I do know that many people bought tickets through the NCAA last weekend before the information was available to the school, so none of those sales would have counted towards our allotment. While not a huge factor, another thing to consider is that Mitchell won state championships while at Katy High school, played at SMU in the Dallas area, and has a lot of family and friends there. Texas folks might be drawn to that game a little bit more for that reason alone, who knows. I think it'll be a decent crowd either way.

The Southland Conference fans need to step up for this. I hope the conference members are promoting it.
