American out of BWI to DFW is dirt cheap. Booked my dad and I roundtrip, non-stop, two nights hotel (not a roach motel either), and rental car for <$700 total. No excuse not to go when it's that cheap.

Irony of all ironies... the only fares that are $280 have me getting off the plane in Atlanta. :ohno:

You can go no change planes on Southwest for $134 each way

BWI to Love field.

BWI to DFW is 3 hrs, give or take 15 minutes depending on direction.

Yes, they are faster, but they sometimes get lazy, and if they find any cocaine or a female European swallow you may as well forget about it.

I like how you've made me your Google bitch. :ohno:

It's two and a half hours non-stop ATL-DFW.

Will you be requiring the time for the BWI-ATL leg as well? If so, it's 1 hour, 45 minutes.

Booked it last night for $288, $324 with taxes. As I told the wife, me and the boys are gonna end up spending less on airfare, rental car, lodging, and tickets, than we will on hookers and drugs.

She wasn't amused.

You think that they could have at least scheduled the games at different times. Starting the FCS/1-AA Championship game 1 hour before the Cotton Bowl sucks. How many Frisco locals are going to attend it? They will stay home to watch Texas A&M vs. LSU.
The Cotton Bowl Classic will kick off at 7 pm on January 7th at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
I would bet that this is one of the lowest attended Championship games. The NCAA are idiots for coming up with this schedule.

But why would you ever leave Spokane? I've heard it's the Venice of the West!

Or was it the Camden, NJ of the West? 8-)

89, have you looked at the packages on American Airlines? You can still get air, hotel, and car for $700 total for two people or $1,150 total for a family of four.

Non-starter for me. I have miles for airfare (assuming I get under $350) and my brother will pick me up, no car needed.

Although it looks like some of the flights are now sold out. You may have to change planes in STL on the way back.

Gotcha.

I'm just amazed at the official package that Prime Sport (whoever they are) is offering. For four people, it's $975 per person for one room. WTF?!?! http://www.primesport.com/iprotour/buy1 ... D=PP101620

Through American Airlines Vacations, it's a quarter the price. You'd save almost three large for a family of four. Kind of a no-brainer.
