It will be an interesting one...and the first in Frisco...

Could we have gotten two teams further from the game site...

Or could we have gotten a more neutral site...

Plenty of time to disuss

Actually, UD is closer to Frisco by almost 500 miles (466, or something)

I thought that EWU defense was very fast and there quaterback made a great throw on that long TD...however, they lost their best back, Mitchell throws an ugly, lofting ball, and we haven't traveled 10,000 miles in 3 weeks...

I have UD winning by 10.

As an Eagle or Chicken flies, it is:

1,252 from the Hen Den to Pizza Hut Park
1,464 from the Red Dread to Pizza Hut Park

A little more than 200 miles difference. EWU is closer to Spokane Intl. Airport than Delaware is to Philly Intl. Airport, but no direct flights from Spokane to DFW.

I went by land miles from city to city
used Google maps and shortest routes
Cheney to Frisco 1886
Newark to Frisco 1422

Interesting, too, as I am originally from Medford, NJ and from my parents front door to mine is 1701 miles.
I need to calculate the difference here, as I know how far I am from Frisco.

From your FCS weather gal

Curent temps around the FCS world @ 2:55 PM CST
Cheney, WA - 29 freezing fog, light snow
Newark, DE - 35 mostly cloudy
Frisco, TX - 52 partly cloudy (if there's one cloud in the sky they put that)

My bad.

I'd say the travel had to be a factor. Not as much as the cowbell, but a factor none the less. :thumb:

Why are FCS fans so obsessed with distances to a National Championship game??? There are these things called planes......suck it up and stop your whining. No wonder people look down on this level of football!

BUT if you want to get into a pissing match...it's currently 41 in Chatty. So much for vivid imaginations, or drug use.
Frankly I don't care what the temp is anywhere other than the 3 cities involved in the NC and that's what I'll report on.

For the FCS weather report...CatMom out.

Was part of Frisco's final sales push for the game "Visitors can run a train on CatMILF (as long as they don't have ECB)"?

Booked round trip non-stop on American from BWI to DFW, two nights lodging at the Crowne Plaza (2 bed suite), and three days rental car for my dad and I. $694.49 total. Can't beat that with a baseball bat.

See you in Frisco. :thumb:
