What I think is that using replay in any sport sucks. I grew up when there was absolutely none. It takes away from the game and the human factor. I mean, really, why bother with officials at all? Get rid of replays (never happen) and that play stands, as called. Keep replays and shit happens that everyone can use as an excuse. Simply put, hang on to the damn ball and there's no issue. People will say that replays enhance the game...I respectfully disagree, but that's me.
I think I don't remember every single play in a game and I was tired and Nova was out-played.
BTW - which one of the zillion fumbles was this? If described (and I can clear the cobwebbs out of the brain) I can actually comment on the particulars
It would be the one that turned the game with the EWU guy picking it up and running into the endzone. Pretty easy one to remember.
Congrats to EWU, some serious stones on your coach to go for it like he did at the end. Nice to see aggressive play calling instead of playing not to lose.

Doesn't matter that EWU was +4 in the turnover margin, with how vastly superior Nova and the CAA obviously are, we still should've lost by at least 30, right? Especially since we were without our best player.

The only thing I like about the excuse making is that it shows a few of the EWU fans how full of shit they sound when they make them. Their fans are good people but some have been very emotional (not NDSU level) but still have a history of doing this same thing. They now have a different point of reference and can see the absolute lack of validity in it.
There are many "what if's" but excuses are the lodging of the loser.
Penthouse has made a 1/2 hearted effort here. It's too bad cuz the guy did a good job of lighting some fires here and could have just eaten his grass fed crow with integrity and been at a higher level than the vast majority of the lakesbisonettes.

I recorded it but right when it happened I said on the thread that it didn't look like he was down. He was on his back, but he was on top of an EWU defender and no knee, butt, or elbow had hit the ground when it was knocked out of his hands. You couldn't see anything being down on the replay so it looked like a good call to me.
