I'll take 0-19 for $200 Alex89Hen wrote:MEAC: 0-13 since FAMU's win in 1999danefan wrote:MEAC falls in the playoffs yet again.

That would be Big South then. Big South = ACC officiating. We share crews.UNHWildCats wrote:ACC officiating crew?? I googled the Referee's name and he keeps coming up listed in box scores involving ACC teams.danefan wrote:This is by far the worst officiated game I've ever seen in favor of one team. Its unbeleivable right now how lopsided the calls are against UNH.

Congrats to UNH on their victory today. MEAC Commissioner Dennis Thomas was seen doing the Dougie in the parking lot outside of Municipal Stadium after the game.

Re: New Hampshire at Bethune-Cookman
I'm not sure what the "Dougie" is, but if it means being fat, blind, and completely incompetent, the MEAC officiating crew in Newark today was also doing the Dougie.DSUrocks07 wrote:Congrats to UNH on their victory today. The MEAC poll rankings and at-large bid were UNDESERVED. I hope the results on the field finally proved what many of us were saying all seaason long! The MEAC was the lowest ranked conference for a reason and the non-conf results showed it.ToTheLeft wrote:And as an LU fan, I can't either. Beat Coastal (or at least not give up a ton of points to them) or beat RMU or JMU and we're in, too.SeattleGriz wrote:
As a Montana fan, I can't say a thing. The Griz didn't get 7 wins like needed. Gotta play by the rules.
But I can say we did more than SCSU, and this just proves that. This is a team (B-CU) that shut out SCSU at SCSU.
If they get and stay competitive in this game, it will make things a little better... but we'll see.
There is NO WAY any MEAC teams should have been ranked higher than 20 at ANY POINT this season.

Re: New Hampshire at Bethune-Cookman
I have said it all season long, the rankings for SCSU and Bethune-Cookman were OVERRATED. Can a MEAC team win a playoff game once in a blue moon? Yes, anyone can. But a MEAC school being ranked in the top ten or twenty in the country just isn't right. SCSU played App close in 2008 and 2009, but close doesn't matter in the playoffs. In 2010, the rankings of those two were frauds, and they were exposed as neither team deserved a bid - just like the Big East doesn't deserve an auto bid to the BCS.

I think you guys are basing a bit much on one game. The MEAC was bad this year, but remember that B-Cook's do-everything QB was out with an injury. They may not have won with him, but it certainly would have been closer.

And UNH played with its backup QB as well.Mvemjsunpx wrote:I think you guys are basing a bit much on one game. The MEAC was bad this year, but remember that B-Cook's do-everything QB was out with an injury. They may not have won with him, but it certainly would have been closer.
No way in hell MEAC schools should be ranked over 20 ever unless they actually go out and beat someone, which they haven't been able to do in 5+ years at best.

Congrats UNH! All the way this year guys.
I also think you deserve a home game by now.
