I've been defending the uniforms all day. They have been selling them on montanagrizzlies.com ever since the game was over.

People need to realize it is more than a gimmick. The jerseys will bring a nice bit of coin into the athletic fund.

If I had the money, I would buy one. I am sure there are plenty of boosters with bucks that will snatch them all up.

Who wouldn't want a one of a kind "ugly" UM jersey? I know I would.

We'll see. I don't think they'll be anywhere near the popularity of the 1995 throwbacks from 2 years ago, especially since these ones are associated with losing to the Cats & not making the playoffs for the first time in 18 years.

If you're right, though, they should test that theory next time by having the Griz wear fluorescent green jerseys with fluorescent orange & hot pink polka dots, topped off with a helmet styled to look like cotton candy.
