Re: NEC Pick'em Week 12
Albany vs. Monmouth - The Hawks can and probably should win this game. But they won't.
Bryant vs. Duquesne- This one scares me. Bryant is undefeated at home and Duquesne needs to play four full quarters of football. Can the Dukes pull it off? I think they will, but it won't be easy or close. If the Dukes' QB, Sean Patterson is on target, the Bulldog defense will not be able to contain the Duquesne aerial attack.
CCSU vs. SFPA - Home cooking helps the Blue Devils cruise to victory.
Sacred Heart vs. Wagner - The "Shootout at (the imaginatively named) Campus Field"! Fink vs. Doscher. "The Fair Fight in Fairfield" The NEC UPSET OF THE WEEK? If Fink can throw all of his passes this week to guys in red jerseys, they may be able end the season on a winning note.

Re: NEC Pick'em Week 12
Albany vs. Monmouth - Honestly, it's a toss up. Hawks have lost 3 NEC games by 1 point (at RMU, vs. SHU, vs. CCSU), however they've lost 3 straight and I think Albany has done enough to right the ship in the 2nd half of the season.
Bryant vs. Duquesne - Another toss up. Bryant is at home and on a nice roll, taking out RMU last week. The Dukes are just 1-3 on the road and make the long treck to RI.
CCSU vs. SFPA - Blue Devils roll at home and become back-to-back NEC champs, but watch RMU in the playoffs - motivation for next year!
Sacred Heart vs. Wagner - Seahawks has won just 1 of their last 5 games. SHU has played better than their record for most of the year and looks close out with a nice win at home.

Wagner has won two of their last five games (SFPA and Monmouth). Still a disappointing season for us.aceinthehole wrote:Sacred Heart vs. Wagner - Seahawks has won just 1 of their last 5 games. SHU has played better than their record for most of the year and looks close out with a nice win at home.

Albany vs. Monmouth
Albany at home will the close win and next their season on a 3 game winning streak.
Albany 24-20
Bryant vs. Duquesne
That bus trip to RI is murder on the PA teams. Maybe one day those teams will learn and start flying up there.
The Dukes will start slow which plays right into Bryant's game plan. Expect a big game from Jordan Brown who is going to make it difficult to pick only 2 RBs for 1st team all NEC.
Bryant 31-20
CCSU vs. SFPA
CCSU looks to lock up co-Champ title and secure their spot in the in the Gridiron Classic (if there still is one).
CCSU rolls at home easily.
CCSU 35-13
Sacred Heart vs. Wagner
SHU had an extra week to get ready for Wagner and I think Wagner just wants to be done with the 2010 season.
SHU gets a solid performance from Fink as SHU celebrates Senior Day
SHU 23-20

Re: NEC Pick'em Week 12
Albany vs. Monmouth - we suck. our oline is soft and we'll need another ridiculous performance by the NEC Rookie of the year (Dillon Romain) to keep this one close. Huge difference though between 5-6 and 6-5 so hopefully the Danes continue the streak.....I'm still picking against us.
Bryant vs. Duquesne - Bryant is really tough at home.
CCSU vs. SFPA - St. Francis sucks again.
Sacred Heart vs. Wagner - Wagner I guess? Who knows really.

]Word is that Coach VanZile had the kid in and Didnt seal the deal, wasnt a good visit didnt offer enough, and Van Ziles cocky attitude ruined it! he wanted to stay home, he is from Jersey, it was either Montana, Ualbany, and Monmouth. Now we will have to put up with this for 3 more years...

Welcome to the board mhawkfan. Good to see another NEC fans around here.
I think all of the NEC is thinking the same thing right now about Romain. Should be a fun couple of years with him and Drew Smith at RB for us and Buddy Leathey at QB.
I'm happy with a 6-5 year after the debacle that the first half of our conference schedule was.
Now lets all go root for RMU to represent the NEC well.
Re: NEC Pick'em Week 12
Hopefully Vanzile will do better this year with recruiting Romain just won the NEC Rookie Of the week for the 4th Time! Let Gabriel do the recruiting IDIOT! so pissed!
