Been looking forward to this one all year. The weather is perfect and SLO is hoppin, should be a great game. Go Poly

Who will be the better Cali addition to the BSC? My money's on the Mustangs. Let's get another West team in the playoffs!!!

Agreed. Poly is play-off caliber. If they win tonight, and Montana can't take care of business against the Cats, they risk being left out this year. Go Griz, anyway.

Long term, who knows? UCFE has had good teams in the past and could well adjust to the conference faster than UNC has. The fact that their rivalry game will mean something in terms of potential conference championships will cause them to recruit harder for local athletes.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

I think Cal Poly will still do better long term. Not saying Davis won't do well, as I think they'll outperform UNC, ISU, and maybe PSU next year and the year after (a lot can change in two offseasons though), but I think Poly has the better staff and players right now.SuperHornet wrote:Immediately, that is correct.
