Exactly who was being discourteous?Outlaw wrote:Thanks Seattle Griz. I can appreciate that. I just wish that some of these guys on this board would have the courtesy to respect the others "team". We all know that SEMO has struggled in the past, but they are having a very good year this year and should be commended. All they can do is play whomever is on their schedule. Thanks again.

I have been very pleased to see SEMO step up - no rooting interest one way or the other, but I do like seeing teams that struggled in the past turn around the program - it is good for College Football in general.

Re: SEMO
I agree that it is good for College Football in general. We will have to wait and see if they can sustain this level of performance, not only this year, but in the years after. Obviously, there has to be some luck involved to get the "ball rolling" with recruits and then their performance once they hit the campus. It is really fun for myself to be involved/around the turnaround this year. I have a son on the team. Also, it is fun to watch the community and the "School Pride" get a foothold. I read these boards and see all of these others talking about their teams on a daily basis, because they are "traditionally" good programs and it just made me want to chime in about our team this year !!! Looking forward to the trip to Jacksonville this weekend and hopefully playing again after that. Either way, the Redhawks are assured of a Co-Conference Championship and from where they have been sitting, that is a pretty good season !!!!dbackjon wrote:Outlaw wrote:Thanks Seattle Griz. Re: SEMO
Outlaw, you have some trouble reading.
I actually outright stated I wasn't saying anything bad about SEMO, just commenting on your dissmissal of 89hen because he didn't play college football. Which is obv a requirement for knowing anything about the sport.
Shit wait. No. It's not.
Everything Hen said is true. Win and you're in. Lose and you'll need help. It's far from guaranteed and you don't have to have played college ball to know that. You played and you didn't know that, so...flawed logic brah.

Exactly. Following the FCS and how the playoff field is selected is 100000 times better than having played the game when it comes to prognosticating.siuham wrote:Outlaw, you have some trouble reading.

There was no dismissal of hen89. I just simply asked him a question, which by the way........ he seems perfectly capable of answering without your help. If he took it that way, I am sorry.siuham wrote:Outlaw, you have some trouble reading.

One thing i do know is that we do not need a "Expert" to know that you do not have to worry bout the "Salukis" in the playoffs.

Re: SEMO
Correct. SIU doesn't have to worry about making the playoffs this year. The last seven years were swell though. Has SEMO been to the playoffs before?Outlaw wrote:There was no dismissal of hen89. Fucking Flacco.
Also. Same deficit UD came back from in the 2nd half against UNI the week before.

Way to pound Southwest Baptist last week. You and your 100+ ranking in strength-of-schedule are most likely in for a very rude awakening this weekend.

Re: SEMO
They were on the schedule. Like i stated earlier, we can only play whomever is on the schedule. We will see what happens when we go to Jax State. I just hope they let us play. I heard a rumor that since we had a 100+ strength of schedule that they might cancel the game. Something about being afraid we might get hurt!! oh well, I think we will go ahead and drive down there and see what happens. Are you going, or will they not let you out of the "home" for a weekend pass old guy?Aho Old Guy wrote:Yeah.Outlaw wrote:SEMO has not been to playoffs before, until this year. Go Redhawks !!!

So, I'm pinning this guy as a former lineman who took a few too many shots to the head.
I didn't say anything about SEMO's team, just that you're not exactly a bright spot in the world.

Please don't tell Obama what comes after a Trillion.

Re: SEMO
MSUbear....give us a break. Why attempt to trash on SEMO and Cape GIrardeau? Why are we on the "bandwagon" because we finally have something to get on here and talk about. We finally have a little success and want to support our team? I think it's great that more SEMO fans are showing their support. I am also glad teams like Indiana State are getting more support from their fans. Why don't you get on any of their fans. Oh wait because they would just throw it in your face that they BEAT you. Didn't they break their last losing streak with a win over the mighty bears. Too bad we didn't play you this year.

I agree, too bad... we probably would have won by 2 touchdowns.
