The season is more than half over and I would just like to know how you all feel about your team's performance so far this year.

Are you pleasantly surprised? crushed with disappointment? Or has your team performed as well or as poorly as you were expecting?

URI was 1-10 overall last season. This season I honestly expected 2-9. So for us to be 3-3 in the CAA and have defeated 2 ranked teams (UNH & 'Nova) let's just say that I fall into the THRILLED category.

How about the rest of you?

I've become pretty seriously concerned about our lack of offensive output in the last couple of weeks. I've been blown away by how Presley has stepped up to fill some very large shoes. I had expectations of making the playoffs pre-season, with the expectation of losing to Florida and possibly 1-2 SoCon games. I guess I'm reasonably happy, just hate to see us seemingly falling off late in the season - hopefully I'm proven wrong Saturday vs. the Terrierists.

I expected NDSU to be 5-6, but they're are 6-3 and the team still needs work, but could still get in the playoffs.

Verdict's still out. Ask me again in a couple weeks. I think EWU's program is to the point that anything other than making the play-offs is a disappointing season.

Neither - 6-3 with a fighting chance for the playoffs if we win out.

Disappointed, that we lost our conference title streak before we could break the record, we're at risk for the playoffs, and we won't win the national championship, again.

Of course I'm not the sort to get into a frenzy and put for sale signs on a coach's yard or claim that we need to fire him and hire a local high school coach

THRILLED!!! I expected Southeast Missouri to have another big losing season like always. After they beat the dogs across the river in their new stadium I started to think that they may win a few more games. Now that they are 9-1 with the only loss to a FBS team and playing for the outright conference championship on Saturday, you would probably agree that I have a right to be THRILLED.

I'd have to say that I've been both disappointed and pleasantly surprised. Disappointed about our QB play and turnovers, but pleasantly surprised that despite those mistakes, we're still 7-2 when we could easily be 5-4 or 4-5. I hope our complete performance against PSU wasn't a one-time thing; that we've finally put everything together and can have repeat performances of that caliber in the next 6 weeks.

I thought NAU had a potential playoff team, so my initial prediction of 8-3/7-4 is so far not off pace. Never would have dreamed beating Tech was possible, but the rest of the season has been one massive suckfest for the Dukes

A little of all three.
Disappointed with the loss to Jacksonville despite their good season. Missed FG and 3 Int's. We played sloppy.
Thrilled with the close loss to W&M (pre-injuries).
Thrilled with a close loss to Cal Poly but not happy giving up 50 points to them.
Thrilled with wins at Monmouth and Hampton.
Neither with 14-7 win against G-W.
Thrilled with win against GSU to protect unofficial title of best start-up program.
Blowout wins against Campbell and Savannah St. were expected.

We hoped for 9-2 with two blowout losses (W&M and Cal Poly). We thought we could go 6-5. So I guess we will finish 8-3 which will be at the high end of expectations considering we did not get blown out but stubbed our toe against Jax.

I'm happy with UD's season so far.. but the two biggest tests still loom. The fact is UD hasn't beaten a really solid team yet.. their wins over SDSU, Richmond and JMU don't look nearly as good now as they did at the time those games were played. @UMass this week and Nova after that will tell the tale.

Don't worry - there's a chance that us beating UMass and nova could knock both of them out of the playoffs, and then the Hens won't have any good wins. That's the problem with beating teams, it always results in those teams having worse records afterwards than they had going in.

Epic train wreck. 2-7 and staring 2-9 in the face. We lost to two teams we havent lost to in 8 years (Columbia, and Georgetown). Also lost to Princeton, one of the worst teams in FCS.

Many Leopard fans though we would have a medicore 6 win type season, but nobody expected this.

This season has been a nightmare.

We can still win out and make the playoffs, but I honestly don't see us making any noise, especially if we have to go on the road.

Compared to last year and where I expected the team to be at this point I'm happy with that. Is this where a team after 8 years of Coach Bohl's recruiting should be? I'd say no because expectations are always High with NDSU given it's the primary sport at the school and the amount of money dumped into it. But the year is better than the debacle they had last year. I'll be surprised if they make the playoffs and I'd say I'd be thrilled with that given Bohl's lackluster results for the last 3 years.
