Robert Morris at 14? How many teams ranked 15-35 could Robert Morris beat? Maybe Jacksonville or Dayton?

Re: Week 10 ChampionshipSubdivision.com Poll Results
Well, they did beat the #12 team.

Inquiring minds want to know. Scheit, it was easier to declassify the Pentagon Papers than to find out how many voters the CS poll has.Gil Dobie wrote:Who got and how many #1 votes?

It's actually really damn easy to find out how many voters there are, if you are a voter.

That clears it up, somewhat. But how were the first-place votes allocated this week?clenz wrote:It's actually really damn easy to find out how many voters there are, if you are a voter.

Montana.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

PM Tman. You've made it abundantly clear that you have some bone of contention with the CS poll Ivy and I can't figure it out for the life of me. Good for you though cuz I really don't give a fuck I guess. We were just trying to build something from scratch here and we've taken good constructive criticism from the outset and tried to make things better as an ongoing way of doing things. You aren't a part of it but you want to sit back and lob shit at it? As I said...good for you.Ivytalk wrote:That clears it up, somewhat. Definitely agree, they've been in my poll for a few weeks but it is going to take a playoff win or two to climb above 20.bluehenbillk wrote:Robert Morris is way too high, what's up with the NEC lovefest??

Re: Week 10 ChampionshipSubdivision.com Poll Results
What has Grambling done to deserve any votes? Yeah, they are winning a lot of close games in the SWAC, but that means less than winning games in the PFL.
SWAC has zero wins outside the HBCU circle, and those are one win against a weak Tenn State.

These people jumping on RMU being too high: what has Bethune Cookman done to be so high? How about SE MO St? Liberty?
It's the nature of the polls and especially this year.

I think it's in the Poll forum Coach. I can't remember where I saw it a while back as it may have been in a post or you may be able to look on your user cp somewhere and it lists the people in that group.CoachL wrote:clenz wrote:It's actually really damn easy to find out how many voters there are, if you are a voter.

Just figured it out Coach. If you go to your User CP and click on the tab "Usergroups" and then click the cs poll link it'll tell you exactly who is in that group.

Re: Week 10 ChampionshipSubdivision.com Poll Results
If travelinman could explain how the poll is calculated, that'd be pretty awesome. Does the CS.com system keep track of #1 votes, or does it simply make a calculation based on the ballots without tracking which teams got top votes? That could explain why our poll doesn't say how many #1 votes each team received.
Re: Week 10 ChampionshipSubdivision.com Poll Results
I think it is based on a calculation that is more than just "This team got this many first place votes" and so on to help keep "homerism" down.∞∞∞ wrote:If travelinman could explain how the poll is calculated, that'd be pretty awesome. He is seriously doing shit like that AZ. He had Sac #1, and Liberty #2 last week I think it was and the only reason he didn't have UM at #3 is because he forgot them completely. It's too bad that he won't take it seriously but we get by in spite of him trying to not help out the cause.AZGrizFan wrote:Seriously, if you're really doing this you should stop voting.SuperHornet wrote:Montana.
Re: Week 10 ChampionshipSubdivision.com Poll Results
I was hoping he was just being a douche and putting out fake polls, actually doing a real voting. If he is actually turning in the shit he is posting something NEEDS to be done, regardless how "wrong" it may be.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:He is seriously doing shit like that AZ.
