Georgia State beat fellow start-up Lamar University 23-17 yesterday at home to guarantee themselves a winning record in their inaugural season. I know the Panthers are given a lot of grief sometimes, especially on that other site, but I think they deserve some congratulations 'cause it's still a great accomplishment for any year 1 program. So good job GSU!!!

ps. GSU is now 6-4. They have a bye week and their last game is against Alabama on the 18th.
