well both teams have big games this weekend (RMU vs CCSU for the NEC, LU vs G-W), so all the talk of the teams meeting again in the playoffs is speculation and if one or both lose this weekend, that possibility is rendered moot.

If they don't make the playoffs, the teams will be rendered moot.bjtheflamesfan wrote:well both teams have big games this weekend (RMU vs CCSU for the NEC, LU vs G-W), so all the talk of the teams meeting again in teh playoffs is speculation and if one or both lose this weekend, that possibility is rendered moot.

I hope so, but SC State could throw a wrench into those plans. I'd love for it to be RMU @ LU winner playing @ UD.ToTheLeft wrote:And even funnier is that, if things shake out with Wofford and WM getting first round byes, RMU and LU are likely going to play again, this time in Lynchburg, in the playoffs.

Would the NCAA really havea regular season match up in the first round. I guess I don't know how far apart the two schools are, so iit may be an option.
I know some places had an SFA/UNI rematch in the opening round, but with the travel for that I don't see that happening

Man I would love to see that rematch here in "the Bill". Bring it on.jcmanson wrote:I hope so, but SC State could throw a wrench into those plans. We're a bus trip, and if WM and SCSU and Wofford aren't available, they're gonna be our only option (Them or Nova, but I doubt Nova's in the first round).clenz wrote:Would the NCAA really havea regular season match up in the first round. Re: Individual CS Poll Ballots-11/1
It would be a bus trip so unless there's another bus trip for LU and/or RMU this will happen. With the obvious IF being IF both teams make the field.clenz wrote:Would the NCAA really havea regular season match up in the first round. Re: Individual CS Poll Ballots-11/1
The winner of the Patriot could very well be a bus trip for RMU. I'm sure the NCAA would rather have that than LU/RMU.ToTheLeft wrote:We're a bus trip, and if WM and SCSU and Wofford aren't available, they're gonna be our only option (Them or Nova, but I doubt Nova's in the first round).clenz wrote:Would the NCAA really havea regular season match up in the first round. I'd bet that would be the chosen option as well. However, the NCAA is going to go where the money leads them.jcmanson wrote:The winner of the Patriot could very well be a bus trip for RMU. I'm sure the NCAA would rather have that than LU/RMU.ToTheLeft wrote:

Hey I dont mind when you guys keep the discussion to the merits of who should be ranked higher, who has the better schedule, etc. Do you really have to go acting like its the Canadian parliament...ToTheLeft wrote:Awwww, cmon dad.bjtheflamesfan wrote:

If you want...Im just saying that they say some of the most scathing things that have zero do to with whatever they are debating...I figure we are better than the Canadian parliament...

Then you haven't looked around here too much. Everything is done in the open and that's fine. Even if it's a spat. No big deal and I'd just as soon see how the resolution plays out. I'm nosy like that.bjtheflamesfan wrote:If you want...Im just saying that they say some of the most scathing things that have zero do to with whatever they are debating...I figure we are better than the Canadian parliament...
