Another thing that's 'for sure' is that East Washington won't put a dent in the playoff bracket ... again.

You mean like in '04 when we knocked off the #1 seed SIU? Or 2007 when we stomped #2 seed McNeese?PenthouseClosedEnd wrote:Way to step out on a ledge there.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote: One thing is for sure, one of either JMU or UR will not make the playoffs.

Man, huge wins over Southland and MVC (by the way, I referred to Lake Charles, LA ... that's where McNeese is. I'm sure you knew that already).Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:You mean like in '04 when we knocked off the #1 seed SIU? Or 2007 when we stomped #2 seed McNeese?PenthouseClosedEnd wrote:

My team will be in the playoffs. Yours won't. Keep drinkin' the haterade!

Ah its the old "we lost by fewer points than you" come back.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:Cute, how you try to transfer the CAA's past success to your present team. Well, it's more pathetic really. This isn't a CAA thread, this is a 2010 Richmond/JMU thread. So really, water's only up to my ankles.
And by the way, in 2007 after we stomped the #2 seed, we lost by 3 points to the eventual champion App State. How did CAA teams fare against them? Let's see, RICHMOND got stomped by 20, and Delaware got stomped by 28.
And if you're going to play that game. He CONVENIENTLY left out ASU's previous game...you know, the one where we had them on the ropes and decided to fumble the game away. That was a one-pointer. I'm ordering my 2007 CAA champs t-shirt now.ur2K wrote:Ah its the old "we lost by fewer points than you" come back.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:Cute, how you try to transfer the CAA's past success to your present team. By halftime, there'll just be one big man-love session at midfield.

I love "love"...
I'll bring the brie (seriously, I'm a Richmond fan. I might bring brie).

Hmmmm, interesting. Let's see if we can take this a step further...bandl wrote:PenthouseClosedEnd wrote:Yes, it appears that all we needed was a short-bus riding East Washington fan to bring us all together. How about I bring Zima? How do you feel about the taste of Zima on your palate? I find that it really freshens things, while still providing a reasonable amount of alcohol to my bloodstream.
Have you ever enjoyed the benefits of wearing a Sweater-Vest to a game? Isn't it wonderful how the sweater part warms your Core on a crisp fall day like Saturday will be, while allowing less arm constriction than a full sweater?
I hope I'm not coming on too strong...
I'm a fan of you Richmonders drinking all the Zima you want, only because my FIL's company makes the product that goes into Zima to make it all girly-like. So in a sense, you would just padding my childrens' college funds.PenthouseClosedEnd wrote:Hmmmm, interesting. Let's see if we can take this a step further...bandl wrote:![]()

JMU has had recruiting competition from Old Dominion for three years now. Is it any surprise to see the number of losses you have experienced the last two years? Or the lack of playmakers on offense? Oh there is trouble at the Interstate 81 rest stop. Nice stadium you are building though. Do you know if they plan to put tarps on the empty seats like they do at MLB stadiums or will they use blow up dolls to make the stadium look full?
Eh, I'm in a JMU hating mood today. No competition left on our football schedule and 8 days until we host Georgetown in basketball to start the season.
