NDSU clearly owns the MVFC

Yeah we might as well just hand them the trophy now.

I just don't get why so many MVC fans think it's a better conference than the Big Sky...
Indiana State is one of the worst, if not the worst, program in FCS. If anything, they're pretty equal with the edge going to the Big Sky as far as playoff history.

Because of the playoff success between the two conf. OTHER than Montana, there is a big time lack of playoff success when compared to the MVFC.Willie wrote:I just don't get why so many MVC fans think it's a better conference than the Big Sky...
The MVFC has many teams that have made runs to the quarters, semi's, and national title game. UNI, SIU, Ill St, YSU, WIU, and WKU when they were here have all made nice playoff runs.
Montana's program is unparalleled within the BSC.

Which is why...shhh don't tell anyone I said this...I hope we move up. I'd gladly take the season tickets from the assholes on eGriz that will shoot themselves if we move up.DJH wrote:Montana's program is unparalleled within the BSC.Willie wrote:I just don't get why so many MVC fans think it's a better conference than the Big Sky...

I love how the Dakotas and Montana and other western states rip on eachother for being "backwoods" and "hillbilly" when we are very similar since all of those states are sparsely populated.Willie wrote:Just checked out Bisonville to see what those retards had to say about UND, USD and SUU joining the Sky. Where is there anywhere near 1 million people in ND?Gil Dobie wrote:I grew up in North Dakota with over 1 million people within an hours drive.Thumper 76 wrote: I love how the Dakotas and Montana and other western states rip on eachother for being "backwoods" and "hillbilly" when we are very similar since all of those states are sparsely populated.

I didn't say in North Dakota, I said within an hour of my hometown. Winnipeg Manitoba is the largest city within an hour, approx 700,000. Draw a circle of 1 hour driving distance and it adds up to a cool million.Willie wrote:Where is there anywhere near 1 million people in ND?Gil Dobie wrote:

Don't really see too much backwoods stuff in Winnipeg.Thumper 76 wrote:Gil Dobie wrote:

Usually there isn't a ton of backwards stuff happening in many of these states, but including a town in CANADA in your state is really funny.

Yeah, those 2 conference titles and semi final appearances in our first three years if being 1AA was tough to endure as a program. Not sure how we survivedGil Dobie wrote:Growing pains, just like UNI's first few years in I-AA.clenz wrote: About as much as NDSU has the MVFC...

Took a former Bison coach to turn you program around.
UNI
1978 - 2-9
1979 - 6-5
1980 - 7-4
1981 - 5-6
1982 - 4-6-1
1983 - 6-5
.........and I couldn't find UNI in any playoffs between 1975 & 1985.
