62,821 inside Legion Field Saturday for the 67th Magic City Classic between Alabama A&M and Alabama State. Over 100,000 people in the area with some 40,000+ never stepping foot inside the stadium. Taigating started last Tuesday morning and including a few famous tailgaters such as Steve Harvey, Tom Joyner, and Wendy Williams to name a few.

It's listed at around 16,000. I'm not sure how that 16,664 got counted, though. They were selling returned tickets at 1:30, but there weren't supposed to be many of those. I had several friends that could not attend but they all sold their tickets on Madison Marketplace.

The most frustrating thing for me were the students that left at halftime. Student section was full for the first half and a dead zone during the second half.

Yeah, there were gaping holes throughout the stands in that second half, and that was before JMU started going in the tank. UD can't get their students to show up at all - JMU can't get their's to stay. Kids today.

Welcome to the club. Most Elon students show up some time in the 2nd quarter and are gone by halftime.

Youngstown lsits 13039, but from talking with people who were there, it was closer to 8K

So I found a picture from during the game that covers the "home" side of YSU's stadium....even 8K may have been pushing it.
