Not saying they arnt better than that but they played real crappy in this game.
And if the cats play like they have the past two weeks, they aren't getting out of Missoula with a "W".
Very true, should make for an interesting end to the season
I think EWU beats ISU by 35. But the game with SUU will be the tester. SUU is probably the best team in the country not to go to the playoffs. If EWU loses that one, which is possible, that'll kill their seed and hosting hopes.
Who freaking cares if EWU wins the conference title, outright or otherwise? Montana's going to win the National Championship anyway. That's all that's truly important.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Edit: I think I ALREADY said that sorrrry.
Unfortunately as i mentioned before the season started i feel that we may have and eventually did schedule ourselves out of the playoffs this year especially by playing two FBS opponents. Granted there was an FCS game we should have one (Lumberjacks beat us in the final seconds for a third year running). However we made our bed so to speak so now we have to lay in it. Hopefully next year we will be able to have a much better schedule especially since were getting into the Big Sky. I also feel that we have a good shot getting into the playoffs next season as we are 5-2 against FCS teams this season and with a few more FCS teams on the schedule we could do it.

From looking over the scores and watching the Weber UM game, I would say that as far as who is playing the best right now
1) EWU - good defensive line and a ton of speed behind them. On offense Mitchell finally got in sync with his receivers and Taiwan Jones is a game changer. Total domination of Portland State is pretty impressive.
2) Weber State - When they don't turn the ball over, they play great football ie Bobby Ball. I never expected them to flat run over UM like they did. Higgins and that WR corp is explosive and Higgins has played great in blizzard at MSU before.
3) Sac State - Turning the corner
4) MSU - On defense need to get healthy and we are still missing our starting DE and MLB which we haven't had since EWU win. Our defense gets a lot better when they are out on the field. Unless we get them back this week we are not beating Weber. They will run over us like they did the Griz.
Our defensive line is based more on quickness than sheer bulk like the Griz and the Weber's o-line is massive.
Our offense has not run the ball very well lately either since we went to the lighter offensive line because of injuries. We did get a starter back last week but he was very rusty in his blocking schemes. We are moving people from side to side but can't get any push.
I expect EWU to win out and nab the title in sole possession.
If we get our DE and MLB back for Weber then the game will be a tossup. If we don't we will lose for sure. I still don't like the match up of our corners versus Weber's Collins and Phillips with Higgins throwing to them.
Cat Griz could come down to whoever wins qualifies for the playoffs.
As far as that game goes..depends on how healthy we are. Having a bye week before hand will help.
That will be an interesting matchup where the Cats have some advantages and the Griz have some advantages.
My guess right now would be the Cats lose to Weber and barely beat the Griz in their house.
