Re: GPI 10/20
1-20 look good. Then it starts breaking down, but with the vast number of similar teams, that is understandable.

Re: GPI 10/20
The computers don't seem to like LU. Probably because our "best win" is against a team from FBS that's about as good as middle of the pack FCS teams in terms of the numbers. Voters take an FBS win with more gravity, due to the increased scholarships and perceived difficulty of winning a game against "Big Brother". Which is right? I dunno. Ball State won @ Central Michigan, who destroyed Hampton and played Temple about as well as Nova did. So maybe the voters are closer to correct than the computers.
However, even against crappy teams, a couple more wins for the Cardinals and our rankings will go up. A win at Toledo this weekend would do wonders for the Flames, combined with a JMU win, in terms of boosting our computer numbers.
That said, if Savannah State or St. Francis could find a way to win a few games, that'd be awesome.

Re: GPI 10/20
Yeah, LU is going to be hurt by computers this year for sure. The only teams on LU's schedule that have winning records are the two teams LU lost to (JMU and RMU).ToTheLeft wrote:The computers don't seem to like LU. LU is the actually the only team in the Big South that has a winning record.
Re: GPI 10/20
Yeah, all of the Big South either over or under schedules OOC, or is just having a bad year. Doesn't help our numbers.
