Show me some numbers JBB until then it's just kool-aid drinking talk...I recognize that you defeated Kansas what you don't recognize is that Kansas is NOT a powerhouse...

Kansas is a powerhouse, didn't you see what they did to K-State last night? They only let them score 59! :lol:

I think this will be a good game, in the scheme of things I want the Bison to win.

I agree, Kansas has had a mighty fall since their defeat at the hands of The BISON, you wont get any argument from me on that. The only statistic we care about here at NDSU is the win. We were also concerned about how well they did BEFORE they played us. Most teams have a let-down after The BISON week. Some are more profoundly affected than others.

Im also on board with Pantherrob82 Im expecting a good game. It will be fun to watch and should have a lot of fireworks. Last year it went down to the bitter end in a wide open game. There were plenty of athletic feats on display and good sportsmanship of the highest order was demonstrated by all.

Preparation is the key. I know our team has been working on the fundamentals of good football: Offense and Defense. They are practicing blocking, tackling, running and throwing. Some of our guys are practicing kicking, both punting and the seemingly more difficult place-kicking have both shown great improvement. It is looking like our team should be ready. I know they are in town but dont know if they have been down to the yard yet.

If DJ McNorton, all conference type back for the BISON, has a good day the time of possession for the RedBirds will be limited, which in turn should reduce their chances of victory to well under 100%.
Dear Lord, We come before you and humbly ask you to grant our prayer for a veil of protection to be placed over Donald Trump. May your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Game time is 2 PM CST.

A look back at BISON Football tells us all something about the game. The NDSU BISON have faced and defeated the finest teams ever to take the field against the Thundering Herd. These were powerful football teams not to be taken lightly. The Mighty Kansas Jayhawks were no different!

Looking back we see a forward wall, plenty of vigor and fight, showing the spirit, strength and knowledge of the game that only the finest coached teams can exhibit. It was this indomitable strength and character of the Thundering Herd that gave the "Old AC" it's finest hours and brought us to this point in history. The NDSU BISON are poised on the threshold of greatness.

Things seem to be settled "under the stands". There is no activity at the back door to the Fabulous Fargo Dome leading to the tunnels that take the knowledable to the archives of "BISON LORE" and home offices of BISON Football. Its the College of Football. It houses the essence of the game in it's on-site and satellite libraries. Allied experts are found across the nation, even "back east". It's not surprising Saturday's game is fully understood and the game plan in place. The Herd is preparing for victory.

GO BISON!!!

ONE MORE TIME FOR THE OLD AC!!!

Thank you Gill. You have been a wonderful supporter of my threads and a great ambassador for NDSU Football. I think if we continue to educate, in a reasonable and comprehensive manner, eat a good diet, continue to practice good hygiene and exhibit sportsmanship of the highest order we should be able to add to the legions of fans that have already made The NDSU BISON one of the top draws in the FCS and FBS. NDSU draws far more than many FBS schools.

I am working on some contacts now. These folks have some information for me, but of course there is always protocol. Tomorrow is Game Day. Its the most important day on the calander for NDSU Football. Its always football season at NDSU. Sometimes the games come every week, at other times months go by, but football is always studied. The greatest football minds in the world come to NDSU, not only for access to the libraries of knowledge, commonly known as "The BISON LORE", but also to contribute to the vast data base. Everyone is patiently working toward the day of ascendancy. 8-)

One thing that hasnt been discussed enough tonight is team speed. I know the RedBirds have speed, but not at running back. Receiver speed is good, dont get me wrong, but receivers have to catch the ball. After that they are running backs. The BISON have always figured a hand off or pitch and then let the back run, in front of the nations best blocking of course. That with the passing game and a smothering defense should be enough for The Herd. There are 3 very, very fast running backs playing for The BISON.

This is one of the reasons I am very optimistic about the NDSU BISON chances tomorrow.

Im going to have a rough time getting to kickoff in the proper form. I have family to take care of. Its going to be a big day.

Game day dawns cool and clear. 43 degrees right now. It should be in the low seventies and sunny at game time with light winds. Currently we have gusty breezes but they should fade as the day wears on. Its going to be a beautiful day for football.

This is a forecast made to order for Matt Brown. He is a sophomore but already has 1,380 yds passing this season. Even at 6=4, 215 Brown is not a real running threat. He is a drop back passer with a good arm and he can see the field. He has some good recievers and their stats are growing with Browns. Today the pass rush is key and we are hurt along the front line. Our LB are missing Matt Anderson, a stalwart and leader on the field, Matt did not make the trip and may not take the field again for the NDSU BISON. He has an injured neck.

Our D backs should be up to the task and our LB corps will have to be on their toes to cover the receivers underneath.

The BISON have had breakfast and are going to load into the buses in about an hour arriving in Normal and Hancock stadium about 4 hrs prior to kickoff which is 2pm CST.

The KFGO game audio is at http://www.gobison.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Ill State game audio link here http://www.goredbirds.com/sports/m-foot ... sched.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The game is not up on channelsurfing. There are no FCS games listed. I cant find a video feed and the CBS package at the ISU website does not list the game. Any help on video feeds?

Today is all business. This is a must win for the Herd. The BISON need the win to stay in contention for the at-large. The AQ may be out of reach but the Salukis do travel to Fargo in 3 weeks. Never mind that. There is nothing but todays game.

Capacity is listed at 11,500 but they say they had just under 18000 for the SIU game in 2006.

Good luck to both teams, play hard, play clean, may the best team win.

GO BISON!!!

Im not sure what type of half wit would talk about NDSU speed, but my guess is they would be a smart half wit. Maybe somebody like you houndawg. Of course they would have to be at least smart enough to know about Siegers and McNorton. Cyrus Lemon has some speed. Speed is evident all through the line up and as you have probably found out, you cant teach speed. You can coach it though and when that front line of NDSU focuses its vigor and team work on the RedBird defense you will get a chance to see whats coming your way in a few short weeks. Our backs will light up the score board today, the only question is will it be long "BISON-Like" drives, griniding the opponents down, or will it be quick openers that break the big play? We will see, but which ever way it unfolds NDSU has very impressive team speed.
