I agree...I have been a Bobcat fan WAY to long to get cocky about anything. EWU > UNC. even if jones doesn't play, i see this one getting out of hand. 45-17
WSU > ISU. 8 BSC teams get two byes this year: their regularly scheduled one AND the week they play ISU. happy bye week weber! 42-3
MSU > NAU. this game represents MSU's toughest challenge yet. will NAU keep MSU under 40? yep. barely. 38-20
and, drumroll...the game of the week?
PSU > UM. the griz still give the ball away too much for me to pick them against a team who isn't ISU or UNC. PSU is physical and run the ball well; typically the blueprint for beating UM. PSU's run defense is weak, but UM doesn't/can't/won't run the ball well enough to exploit it. weather could play a roll in this one too. cold and rainy definitely favors the ground game. vikes in an "upset." 31-27

Portland State is second in the Big Sky in both scoring defense and overall defense. Idaho State is dead last in both categories. Big difference.Willie wrote:That's what most people said for ISU though too.cats2506 wrote:even if the weather is good, I dont see um scoring 40

I guess this is the picks thread…
Montana 31-17 Portland St. — Fun stat: the Griz lead the nation in 3rd. down defense @ 18.4%.
Weber 35-17 Idaho St. — Even Weber's soft defense shouldn't have much trouble with the Bengals.
Montana St. 24-28 NAU — Total coin flip.
EWU 24-14 NoCo — Taiwan Jones is out & UNC can't pass protect, so the defenses rule this one.

Weber vs Idaho State - Moore continues his magic, but Weber shows why they were a playoff team 42-10.
EWU vs No Co - No Co is beat up on offensive line with no depth they have been in trouble. EWU 45-UNC 20.
Griz vs Vikings - When MSU blitzed they had success which is a Griz specialty. Griz 24 - Vikings 20.
Mt State vs NAU - The Cats come in with best offense going against best defense. NAU counters with an offense not firing on all cylinders and neither is the Cats defense. Turnovers decide game and NAU is better at generating pressure. NAU 28-MSU 24.

Greeley Tribune reporting Dylan Orms will be back starting for UNC this Sat against EW. He did not play against Sac State as he is recovering from a sprained MCL. Orms is "close" to 100percent as of today.

What about the OL injuries? That has to be the most crucial aspect to having any success this week.BigSkyBears wrote:Greeley Tribune reporting Dylan Orms will be back starting for UNC this Sat against EW. Not sure about the OL injuries. Those guys have been banged up all year and haven't had a week off to heal up. We have no BYE week.SDHornet wrote:What about the OL injuries?
