Right. Instead of practicing and studying film of upcoming opponents, the players and coaches all just sat around and reminisced about week 1.

I could see a game like that adversely affecting games prior to it (not applicable in that case), as players are looking ahead instead of concentrating on the current opponent. And maybe affecting the next week. But beyond that, no.

The Sycamores have definitely improved this year over past seasons (and it's about frickin time).
However, with the two sub-DI wins, INS still would need to win out to be eligible for an at-large consideration, which is what this thread is about.

Did I ask for your comment? No! Ya know what? I'm still pissed over this and I don't need CAA assholes replying. (sorry I know it's ok but I'm just mad!)
We have talent on our team to match any in the country and the coaching staff is just wasting it. Our O line can't open up a hole for the running game but other than that the team is suffering because of what they are being told to do. We won without a running game last year. Vanilla play calling is killing us, along with them being unwilling to put Hawkins in, at all. Here's a guy that has been here 2 years, knows the whole playbook, was the # 1 from the end of the SAM game last year, through spring, summer and fall drills...can run, throw (accurately) do wildcats and they have him standing on the sidelines...why? Who the fuck knows? Hawkins is multi-talented but hasn't seen PT since the second game.
Folks on BCF say...oh the kid (Arndt) needs the game experience. I say...we need wins! If you have 300 yds passing and only 3 TDs (and one was a rushing TD) something ain't right. We got shut down from 16, 20 and 10 yds out because they use nothing new, nothing outside the 10-12 plays that a man in his 70's, in the stands, was calling before we even snapped the ball. The offense is broke and they are sitting back watching the wheels fall off instead of trying to fix the spokes.

With a loss to UC-Davis (Mustangs choked bad in the 4th quarter) Cal Poly is now eliminated from getting into the playoffs essentially since only having 6 D1 wins on their schedule. This opens the door for several bubble teams including Montana who if they beat the Bobcats this Saturday i think will get in along with EWU and MSU making them a 3 bid conference. However if the Griz lose to the Cats i dont see them making the playoffs and seeing one of the other teams on the bubble make the jump.

Yup. If the Griz beat the Bobcats, the Big Sky is pretty much a lock for three teams in the post season. Otherwise, it's EWU and MSU.
