A team filled with cheap-shot artists gets almost nine times as many votes as Sac?!?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

So why is SEMO St. so far behind SC State? What has SC State done that SEMO hasn't?

Re: Coach's Poll- Week 6
UD can't even scrape up one first place vote in this poll? Wins against the #6 and the #19 in the poll, both on the road, and a win over a team that just beat the #23 team in the poll doesn't merit a single first place vote? Booooo.

We are still early enough to where what you have done in previous seasons can still allow you to be ranked higher than your resume might be worthy of. It just has to play out more. Give it another two or three weeks and then the polls will be pretty accurate. It's sad but it takes about 8 or 9 weeks to fully play out to where teams are ranked about where they should be.ToTheLeft wrote:So why is SEMO St. so far behind SC State? I was referring to Elon and their systematic elimination of Appy quarterbacks.ChoppinBroccoli wrote:Penn is filled with cheap shot artists?SuperHornet wrote:A team filled with cheap-shot artists gets almost nine times as many votes as Sac?!?

Re: Coach's Poll- Week 6
I didn't really have the best view of the injury on Saturday, but I didn't think it looked like a cheap shot. Maybe you had a better view from the West Coast. Maybe 2-4 is just better than 3-3. And one guy a few years ago doesn't mean that the whole team is "cheap shot artists." Also if I'm not mistaken one of your Sac State players was ejected and suspended for a flagrant personal foul last year, and he is still on your team.SuperHornet wrote:I was referring to Elon and their systematic elimination of Appy quarterbacks.ChoppinBroccoli wrote:
