No kidding.
That blitz on 4th was the first one in a while that's actually gotten to him. I'm really impressed with how Towson's been picking the blitzes up. We've got 6 or 7 guys every third down and not getting hardly any pressure.

They've given up a grand total of 29 points in those twelve quarters. So they could be. I know this is a foreign concept to the 64-61 Big Sky folks, but we usually put eleven guys on the other side of the ball too.
But I wouldn't fault people for dropping them. This was a "bad win" if there ever was one.
I also wouldn't sleep on Towson. Those that watched can attest. They are much better than most, including me, gave them credit for. I would hope (think) that they've improved leaps and bounds throughout the year.

I will also add that apart from our games, the teams are averaging the following:
Delaware - approx. 30 (granted they were without Devlin for our game)
Liberty - between 35 and 40
Va. Tech - over 30
Towson - not much, but you get the point.
Congrats Towson. JMU, esp the offense, Haven't looked at the stats, but defense didn't look all that great either. JMU plays like this again won't win another game.
As far as next week, very worried. Came into the game minus 2 starters plus a valuable Griff Yancey out. Lost 3 more starters by the end of the game (2nd d line starter). You UD fans will be happy to know one of them was DJ Bryant, who looks like was held out as a precaution after he got his bell rung in the 3rd qtr.
I'll give an injury update on the JMU @ UNH thread for next week.

Three redshirt freshman started on the o-line last night. Pretty impressive.
This is the second tough loss for the Tigers. The improvement from last years team and this years isn't visible in the win loss column, but it is very noticable if you watch them. It's an impossible schedule to build up, but I can see the progress each week.
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

10/16 @ UR
10/30 URI
11/6 @ UD
10/13 Maine
10/20 @UNH
Towson probably has at least a reasonable chance in all those games except for @ UD. Towson wins 1-2 of those games. 3 wouldn't surprise me that much.

Still awefully young. At 1-5, this is when teams will start to sleep on Towson during the week. I wouldn't be surprised if we sneak one or two. That said I am preparing for a 1-10 finish.
