What's going on??? 49-24 SLU is winning in the 4th. I know that SLU did well in the SLC last year, but wow! I was expecting a 3 team race between SFA, Central Ark, and TXST.
I've been watching the game on and off, and it looks like they been lit up in the air.

Re: TXST vs. SE Lousiana Game Thread
I'll tell you what happened. SLU has a great D and all of our flaws were exposed. I think this is the worst game I've seen TXST play in 7 seasons. (ok, maybe last year at SUU comes close)
1 - The freshman QB is a fucking freshman and no matter how many mistakes he makes they're leaving him in
2 - Our O line could not match their D line
3 - O left the D in too many holes
4 - ST left the D in too many holes
5 - while our D may not be the best, if they had actually had some time to breathe, SLU might not have gotten as many points. Twice (or maybe 3 times?) the O or ST left the D having to go in to defend (on 3 and outs) inside the red zone
6 - turnovers
7 - the playbook is too vanilla
There seemed to be no intensity or fire on either side of the ball for us today. The team looked like they didn't care. I wondered if they didn't just randomly grab 50 guys around campus and threw them on the plane, then told them they were going to play in a football game today.
I was worried about this game (even if I did do that homer pick). SLU was pretty good last year, they just imploded at the end of conference. They're better this year.
