I did not see any personal insults, just pointing out he obviously cares because he clicked on the thread and posted on the thread. How about making excuses on the coaching staff they lost the game. The players are only as good as they are coached. Mussman sucks as a coach...spend some money and get a good coach somewhere else.

The name and mascot at UND are dead. They sold out to the NCCA for a Summit campus visit, and I must admit most of them are having buyers remorse because of the WAC openings, but buyers remorse is not a good nickname. So, they are left with the problem of getting a new name, which is going to be tough because they are in the shadow of NDSU and that has caused some problems.

UND has an identity problem because they are always being confused with NDSU. It goes something like this:

Ed: I heard we have North Dakota this weekend. Is that the NDSU BISON?
Dan: No, its the school with hockey.
Ed: They have hockey?
Dan: Yep

So, to minimize the cost of the identity switch they should use NDSU in their name. But how to distinguish them? Thats always been a problem but fortunately it is easily solved. Call them NDSUII and make the roman numerals look like hockey sticks!!

Or maybe the Retractable Roof Rascals: RRR
Put the RRR on the front and to maximize the investment in hockey on the back, rather than a players name, it could say WE HAVE HOCKEY in a circle with ND in the middle.

Yes!! Thats it!!! their new symbol will be the circle WE HAVE HOCKEY and UND in the middle. Sticking with school colors UND will be in Pink and WE HAVE HOCKEY in green.
