You'd would think the 7-4 disappointment of 05' put things back in perspective. I came aboard in the fall of 06', same with AGS. Can't remember which one I was on 1st though.
-As far as people getting extremely worked up over there, again no different that what I've seen while trolling over on those other message boards I've mentioned. You have people who've spent a lot of coin on Duke Club donations for different levels of football & basketball priority parking & priority seating & travelling to tailgates & games. No different than other schools. People invest a big part of their lives & $ in following their team & get extremely passionate about it. You should have seen the VT message board after the JMU loss. OMG. Those people were in complete meltdown mode. I can only imagine what it must be like with SEC and Big 12 schools.
If the Zone isn't some JMU fans cup of tea, cool. I just don't think any negative aspects of it are any worse than some of these other school's boards.

OK, you're going to have to explain something to me. But why do you troll so many other school's boards? What do you get out of it?
-GoHens mostly only the week leading up to the JMU/UD games and a few days after
-Same with ASU's Mountainer Message board on Delphi before & after the 07' playoff matchup and big 08' Sept game.
-Same deal with UR's SpiderNation on Rivals
-Same deal with the W&M page on the CAAZone.
-Like I said Egriz was back in 08' before the Montana @ JMU semis and after they lost to UR in the NC game. Think I might have popped on there after they lost to Nova last yr in the NC game.
Some of these other boards I might briefly troll on around signing day, their spring game, and in Aug to see what they are saying about their recruits and team. Or if some if their is something major newsworthy going on with their team.
Bottom line though 90% of the time its just the week that JMU plays them. And I know lots of people troll other's people's message boards the week they play them. For example, on the "Devlin Hit" thread alone on the JMU page on the Zone there is a double digit # of UD trolls that have posted.
Yeah, I'm wasting time on the internet. But unlike a lot of folks, I haven't jumped on the Facebook or twitter bandwagons, partake in NFL Fantasy leagues, play video games online, etc. We all have mostly worthless things we waste time on.

I've never heard that statement before about JMU basketball.
). And 99.9% of the people who get all worked up about this stuff have absolutely no bearing on any game, at any point whatsoever (other than being part of the crowd noise). 
And we left in the third quarter.
