SUU had over 7k at their game. This was higher than any Big Sky home game this week. I can't believe SUU is 1-4. They could very easily be 3-2 or 4-1 right now. Wyo and San Jose could have been wins; very close one with NAU.
I think if they can start winning and not give up, their last game of the yr vs EWU, could decide if they finish with a winning record.

You haven't been paying attention the past several years then. They've always been a team that gives everyone fits, but simply can't win more games than they lose.weberwildcat wrote:I can't believe SUU is 1-4.

SUU always give Cal Poly a good game. I am really worried about traveling there in 2 weeks for what will be our 5th straight road game. BTW, it is a two day bus trip to get there and this week we are flying all the way across the country to take on ODU. It will be a tough one to win for the Mustangs.

True, I was even at their FBS game last yr which they lost somethign like 50-34, they didn't have much defense then or could have won the game. I still cant believe their Cal Poly game either...89Hen wrote:You haven't been paying attention the past several years then. That's not true. UNC had 8,105 attend it's game. That includes students who don't pay for tickets. So, if you look at box scores from ESPN, Yahoo sports it may say something like 6,000 but that does NOT include the 2,000 or so students.weberwildcat wrote:SUU had over 7k at their game. y wouldnt unc include students? they are supposed to be counted for even though they dont pay. i think they only dont count when free tkts are given out.BigSkyBears wrote:That's not true. but i can understand this because weber only swipes student cards for basketball and not football. so there woudl be no way to ever account for a student at any football game ever.

Re: SUU Outdraws Big Sky Again
They do count them in the over all attendance or the "official" attendance. They swipe student cards and it takes a while to get the count, but it is reported to the conference. I guess my advice for the future is to look at the conference website or UNC's website hours after the game. I do know it's counted as "official" attendance. Here's the link from the conference website and UNC's website.weberwildcat wrote:y wouldnt unc include students? they are supposed to be counted for even though they dont pay. i think they only dont count when free tkts are given out.BigSkyBears wrote:

Try that angle again next week when Montana and Montana State are at home.
