Venus (following SH) - PSU , I have to point out, was picked 8th pre-season because no one knew anything about Burton and the team, and they assumed it would continue its losing ways. A pretty stupid assumption. After Davis and ISU I think we can assume it's at least average.

Average probably means 7th. or 8th. in the Big Sky this year. The league is pretty deep.
Best Performance: Monmouth 44, Duquesne 17 - Hawks get 2 pick-sixes & pick up their first win with this surprising blowout.
Worst Performance: Duquesne 17, Monmouth 44 - Dukes throw 6 interceptions on just 27 pass attempts.
Most Surprising Result: Monmouth 44, Duquesne 17 - The Hawks get their fourth straight win over Duquesne.

Worst Performance: Alabama St. 7, Texas Southern 21 - The Hornets did throw a 67-yard TD pass, but still completed just 3/16 passes with 4 INTs.
