Shumway is not at QB. Anyone know if he is hurt or got hurt early in the game?

I'm not sure how much of that you can attribute just to the schollys offered in the NEC (or the lack of schollys in the Ivy/PL), but recruiting is an issue for PL/Ivy teams.
We know that NEC schools don't compare even remotely to the academics at an Ivy/PL school. So you have to wonder how many kids are out there that can run a fast 40 or bench press a house AND also have the grades/score to get into a Lehigh or a Yale?
My impression is the pool of players that scored at 1800 the SAT and can run like the wind is small, compared to the players with that same athletic skill who score a 1000.
I will say though that NEC teams and Ivy teams (and PL teams) are passing each other going in opposite directions. No need to elaborate which league is headed down to Division III if things don''t change.
Any chance we will see CCSU on a future Yale schedule? I know our program would love the chance to play you guys in the historic Bowl. It won't be anything like the old UConn/Yale serise, but it would be nice to have Yale host the only public FCS university in CT. I think it would be very similar games to what you saw with Albany,

Re: 10/2 Score Thread
I certainly don't have a problem with it. It would be a lot easier to schedule CCSU and Sacred Heart if the idiot IL Presidents would allow an 11th game.aceinthehole wrote:Fair enough.bulldog10jw wrote:
