Ivy League Week 3

Post by bonarae »

Close
Albany at Yale
Princeton at Columbia
Cornell at Bucknell - two cupcakes in their leagues square off.
Blowout
Harvard at Lafayette - we need to rebound from the humiliating loss at Brown. A loss here ends our season right away (i.e. not winning the League championship race).
Brown at Rhode Island
Dartmouth at Penn - can it be close? Or is the Penn D too much for Dartmouth to handle?
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

Harvard sucked on both sides of the ball. What happened to the running game? Did Cheng Ho defect? Oh, well, we survived the dark ages of the 80s. :ohno:

Clearly, Bruno had nothing to do with that...

There's "suckage", then there's just pure, flat-out domination. The latter's what happened in Brown Stadium last Saturday.

Bruno was Harvard's sole highlight. We're well on the road to mediocrity, at best.

Beat Bucknell by 23...wait, need to rethink that pick :kisswink:

Dartmouth is 2-0!!! 2-0!!! Plus, my old boss' son plays for them, so contractually obligated to pick them.

Obviously Dartmouth was a pretty good pick since they took Penn to OT before losing. Pretty good call Jon.

An exciting game and I must say that both teams looked pretty good. I was proud of the way we played. If Probst and Isijola both stay healthy then we can win some more games. If either goes down we're in trouble. I also like the fact that Probst is hitting more than just one primary WR. It looks like we've got a few weapons in our offensive arsenal.

On Defense I like the way our D-line played. They put plenty of pressure on Caballero, no sacks but they made him hurry on his passes. Brown looked pretty good IMO and should win the Ivy League. One player in particular who I like is their WR #83. I didn't catch his name and I'm too lazy to look him up. I think he had about a half dozen catches and almost all were for long gains.

Hopefully we can keep our momentum going.

Best wishes to Brown for the rest of the way.
