I normally do my polls looking at past results, not how I think people are going to pan out.

I do not anticipate Richmond being at #4 (or above) in my ballot next week.

I don't think you understood what was being said about not using your previous poll. I'm talking about not just shuffling a few spots due to wins and L's but completely re looking at it as if the next week were your first poll.

"Completely re looking at it"... that's a new phrase to me. Sounds to me like you're not looking at it at all. Hence, making mistakes by omitting teams.

I can't agree with SFA being that high if UNI is going to be at 15 ish in most peoples polls.

He's exactly the kind of guy I want voting. Make the mistakes early when none of know for sure and have it cleaned up for next week.

Might leave others out next week. I'd rather have the kind of guy that double checks his ballot before submitting.

We were talking last week about whether or not it is a good idea to use your previous week's ballot when making the current week. This is 100% why you should.

Other people made mistakes, too. It's not like I was the only one. And I misranked a couple teams by a few spots after taking a look at the email I got after submitting my poll, and I forgot a couple teams I would have had in the 17-25 range.

And this was the first week. So I didn't have any other ballot to go by.

Sounds to me like you just get lazy and shift a team or two around based on a win or loss. Hell I bet you got a standard that you use. Loss drops three or four...everybody fills in around that.

They had a loss on the same level as LU's loss to RMU. But it was at home.

Because I'm not a complete whack-job homer.

We're too inconsistent on offense, meaning BLM would have trouble hitting the broad side of a barn. Can't throw a deep ball accurately to save his life; I've seen at least 4 overthrows to wide-open WRs that would have gone for TDs so far this year. If he does complete, it's usually because the WR makes a play on it. If he doesn't, then the ball gets tipped (because BLM hits high every time), and be picked off. Our run game and special teams have been keeping us in games so far. Defense is better than last year but still needs work.
