First Place Twins vs A's at Target Field over any of your picks. Get on the light rail at Mall of America. There's a Shinders on Washington St with baseall cards and comics out front and an adult entertainment room in the back.

Tickets are easier, and cheaper to come by, for the UNI game than the Twins game.Gil Dobie wrote:First Place Twins vs A's at Target Field over any of your picks. But he would save enough money on gas to make-up for the ticket price difference.clenz wrote:Tickets are easier, and cheaper to come by, for the UNI game than the Twins game.Gil Dobie wrote:First Place Twins vs A's at Target Field over any of your picks. Cap would have to pay for the light rail ticket, food and drinks the Twins game, and blah blah blah...Cap gets all the food and drink he wants down here.Gil Dobie wrote:But he would save enough money on gas to make-up for the ticket price difference.clenz wrote: Tickets are easier, and cheaper to come by, for the UNI game than the Twins game.
Actually, go to the Twins game. It will save CF all sorts of money on food...

I'll be at the Fargodome, so you can come stare at my wife's ass (avitar
).
Personally the UNI game is the "football" game of the 3 worth seeing!

They don't give a fuck at Saint John's. I'd know, I played against them for 4 years.Cap'n Cat wrote:Don't like to go to DIII privates schools as many are stuffy about tailgating and drinking.

I always go see my old team play when they are at home. In your case though Cap you might need an additional credit card if you go to the UNI game. D-III games are always a good bargain. If finances are a concern I'd pick any one of the D-III games you posted. Wayne State (NE) at Minnesota-Duluth might be the best choice. If hockey practice is going on you can watch some good hockey as part of your day.

It wasn't on your list, Cap'n, but I'd ask Mama Cat to open up that fat checkbook a little wider, and go to the Griz/Eagle game it Cheney, Wa.!
That looks to be a pretty good one! Quite sure you'd see some familiar faces!
Good luck with your choice, my friend!!

Neither Wayne State nor MN-Duluth are D-III.COBBLESTONE wrote:I always go see my old team play when they are at home. The only D-III game he mentioned was Trine @ UW-River Falls

Oh, if you do it online or over the phone there is a 5 dollar order fee as well. That is waived if you do it in person. Have you ordered your tickets yet? If not let me know, I'll get a hold of you tomorrow.
Also, bring your grill.

I'll be at the SDSU game, but if SDSU would have been away I would have been in Marshall...
SMSU has a new stadium since you've been there Cap'n.
If you go the the old stadium you'll end up at a high school marching band competition.
This weekend is also Smokefest, a Kansas City Barbecue Society Sanctioned Event.
Categories:
-All Four BBQ Competition - Chicken, Ribs (spare or back), Butt (shoulder or hind) and Brisket
-Anything Elk
-Dessert
Payout:
More than $6,000 worth of cash and prizes

No, I've been to that one. It's odd. Doesn't mean it ain't cool, though!
Re: Help Cap'n Cat Pick A Game To Go To This Weekend!
UNI and SDSU are definitely gonna be the 2 best games. You are an UNI alum, it's a no brainer.
NDSU is far and away the best tailgate scene out of the three, but the game will be over after the first quarter.

No, I haven't got my tickets yet. I thought kids were $14, not $12. I'll bring the grill. Yes, call me.
If you have tickets that, ahem, happened to, ahem, "fall on the floor", We'll take 'em!!!

BTW is Oldcat still alive? I left a mesasge at his place today.
Re: Help Cap'n Cat Pick A Game To Go To This Weekend!
I tell you what. I have season tickets with TBH and her parents, but I'm still a student so my ID still gets me in. That will save you an adult ticket. I'll see what we have available when I get to work tomorrow and I'll have to text you rather than call you as I'm not allowed to use my cell phone while at work...that or I go in early and see what we have and give you a call.Cap'n Cat wrote:clenz wrote: 2 adults = 48

THIS!!!! Call me crazy, but I am the first to yell back at the idiots on ESPN when they talk about Paterno being the winningest coach of all time. NOPE, NOPE, NOPE!!!!!!!!!! Fucking John Gagliardi rules!!!g-webb1994 wrote:How about Concordia at St. Johns?
I've always wanted to see a game coached by one of the most overlooked and true coaching legends, John Gagliardi, who is in his 62nd season now.

Just let me know where you would like to get your seats at and I'll do what I can, within reason, to get you as close to that as I can.
