Props to SUU for the attendance. Maybe they will be the 12th conference team.

Re: SUU had higher attendance than BSC on 9/11
SUU fans must realize thier chances at being the 12th BSC member, so the school is doing everything to get students and fans to the game.
WELL DONE SUU.
Although I KNOW we had more than 7,200 at our game, In a stadium that holds close to 18,000, each side has to hold at least 8,000 and the east side of our stadium was just about full, probably 7,000 alone, then add the other side another 4-5 thousand and your looking at close to 12,000 fans.
I watched the game again today on altitude, there was alot of people there, the admin needs to start taking accurated attendance numbers.

Yup as ive been saying for three years that we were a program on the rise not just on the football field. More and more support for the program has been showing up every year and as our team gets better im sure more fans will keep coming. Looking forward to upsetting San Jose State this week
. Found video highlights of the game vs san diego. Enjoy!

Re: SUU had higher attendance than BSC on 9/11
SUU had over 9k attendance is really impressive when the stadium capacity is 8,500. they had a 10k game last yr and will have another this year. if suu would have had a decent defense last yr they would have won at usu. i was there n was very impressed with suu's offense.

I suppose this could be posted on this topic or under the Big Sky expansion topic...

Hope this happens...we are definitely making strides in the right direction. Hopefully add another one for the FCS this Saturday in San Jose.

Re: SUU had higher attendance than BSC on 9/11
#1 i dont know about the weber attendance numbers... a friend of mine that was at the game said both sides looked damn near full. The Quest Field numbers are accurate, however i think EWU's home attendance will be higher.
#2 Those SUU attendance numbers look off also. I dont have any proof.. its just a hunch bc ive never been to SUU's field BUT theres no way that stadium holds that many ppl. Eastern's home side is bigger, Eastern has about 2.5k in endzone seating, and about the same amount of visitor side seating as SUU... so how the hell is SUU's capacity higher? That makes no sense. I estimate the capacity at 6k max.

Hey, I understand your frustration. EWU will go from being 3rd or 4th fiddle in the Big Sky to 6th or 7th once the Great Sky teams come on board.BlackFalkin wrote:Concentrate on keepin your butt well greased for penetration. nhm89Hen wrote:Sounds like hater talk there bf.

Did you not see the defending GWC Champ get ran through by PSU this weekend? Sorry, CP will be a contender when they join, cal-davis not so much.89Hen wrote:Hey, I understand your frustration. Re: SUU had higher attendance than BSC on 9/11
Thats funny bc neither SUU or UCDavis are no match for EWU. SUU if 0-fer vs EWU. UCDavis has also gone down twice by the hands of EWU that i know of... EWU is also 1-1 with Cal Poly recently. SO WTF are you talking about?89Hen wrote:Hey, I understand your frustration. Given that the last time Montana didn't win at least a share of the title Bill Clinton was just starting his second term, they should fit right in with the pack.SDHornet wrote:Did you not see the defending GWC Champ get ran through by PSU this weekend? It is funny bc neither SUU or UCDavis are members of the Big Sky yet. They're already outdrawing most of the Sky, once they join they'll be beating them too.BlackFalkin wrote:Thats funny bc neither SUU or UCDavis are no match for EWU. SUU if 0-fer vs EWU. I think you should have just stuck with " I have no fucking idea but props to SUU and I hope they replace EWU in the Big Sky because they are head and shoulders better than EWU in sports and academics. "

So bc Montana had firm control of the sky for a very long time. Means that UCD & CP can will be better than the other BSC teams? That doesnt make sense. USING THAT LOGIC: Since Florida is the best in the SEC, FAMU will fit right in.89Hen wrote:Given that the last time Montana didn't win at least a share of the title Bill Clinton was just starting his second term, they should fit right in with the pack.SDHornet wrote:Did you not see the defending GWC Champ get ran through by PSU this weekend? Re: SUU had higher attendance than BSC on 9/11
What does that have to do with cal-davis coming in and knocking EWU to the 3rd or 4th fiddle? EWU has been a contender the past few years. Yes CP will come in and contend (obviously as they just knocked off UM) but that is it. EWU will still be in contention if they can continue to bring in talent and athletic players as they have done in the past.89Hen wrote:Given that the last time Montana didn't win at least a share of the title Bill Clinton was just starting his second term, they should fit right in with the pack.SDHornet wrote:Did you not see the defending GWC Champ get ran through by PSU this weekend? . However i will admit after last years dixie state game the attendence dropped off a bit for the rest of the season. However i feel that if we keep winning and/or keeping it close with FBS and FCS opponents we should be okay. And Falking remember the last time we played you guys we didnt do to badly. Take away a few bad throws by Cooper (the man threw more picks then anyone!
) and it would have been a different ball game. Looking forward to the rest of the season, especially our games vs NAU (we are playing them a second time to give them another shot at beeting us
) and EWU because they will show the BIg Sky Conference wether we can compete or not and i already know we can.
