UNC @ Weber State

I figured since I have an hour to kill until the Hornets kick-off I will entertain myself with this game. Decent turnout for WSU. They almost have 2 sections filled.

WOW! WSU opens up with a delay of game on the kick-off.

on 3rd and 15 UNC calls a running play. They will now punt.

WSU fumbles. UNC ball on the WSU 35.
UNC drives to inside the 10 but can't punch it in. 3-0 UNC.

WSU is running it straight down UNC's throat. They are in the redzone and threatening. 3rd and short and WSU calls a timeout. They then get an illegal substitution penalty and its now 3rd and long. Higgins is flushed from the pocket and throws it away. FG is good. 3-3.

UNC's QB has some pretty good mobility. His accuracy needs to work though. UNC is driving and at the WSU 25. After one its still 3-3 with UNC facing a 3rd and 2 at the WSU 23 yard line. UNC doesn't convert. The 44 yard FG is blocked. Still 3-3.

WSU is opening it up now. They just ripped off a few good chunks of yardage...and with that it is time for the Hornet game.

The good news for Weber is that Cam had another great game with few mistakes (33/54, 340 yds, 4 TD, 0 INT), the running game showed up (223 yds, Bolen & Booker 90 yds each), and the Wildcats (finally) squeeked out the 50-47 win in overtime. The bad news is that UNC scored 47 points in Ogden and Weber lost the turnover battle 0-6!

The good news for the Bears is that they scored 47 points away at Weber State and almost won on the road! Either the Weber defense is really bad or the Northern Colorado offense is really good. Whether or not the UNC offense turns out to be top tier, it's sure enough the real deal to be reckoned with in the Big Sky. We'll see over the next few weeks.

The good news for Weber is that Cam had another great game with few mistakes (33/54, 340 yds, 4 TD, 0 INT), the running game showed up (223 yds, Bolen & Booker 90 yds each), and the Wildcats (finally) squeeked out the 50-47 win in overtime. The bad news is that lowly UNC scored 47 points in Ogden.

The good news for the Bears is that they scored 47 points away at Weber State and almost won on the road! Either the Weber defense is really bad or the Northern Colorado offense is really good. Whether or not the UNC offense turns out to be top tier, it's sure enough the real deal to be reckoned with in the Big Sky. We'll see over the next few weeks.

UNC won't be a force to be reckoned with anywhere until we get rid of our dimwit coach, who cost us the game tonight by playing not to lose instead of to win.

I thought it was 3 OT's? Wow, that's kind of funny (about the lights). Crazy game, and be grateful to escape with a W. For now Weber leads the BSC.

Of course we won't give up on our boys, but we gave up on the coaching staff years ago.
