Seriously - I saw that score and was shocked.

So no-one has anything to say about this one? I believe it was a 27-30 final, McNeese

Re: Lamar vs McNeese
Lamar didn't have much of a running game but they had a great passing attack. Lamar's QB Bevil is local JUCO transfer who also played for Woodard (Lamar's HC) at Navarro JC and he played very well. It was a hard hitting game and McNeese turned the ball over quite a few times. I didn't attend the game but heard it was a great game atmosphere at McNeese with over 19K in attendance, including 3K Lamar fans.

I was away but they kept posting the scores for us, so I saw this and was totally shocked. Is MSU that bad or Lamar that good (already)? Or did MSU take Lamar too lightly?
Not a great opening week for the SLC anyway. 6 of the teams lost to FBS teams. McNeese almost lost to a re-start program and UCA beat a DII
Scores:
UH 68 - TXST 28 (40) hey, we beat the spread
A&M 48 - SFA 7 (41)
Baylor 34 - SAM 3 (31)
Air Force 62 - NWS 21 (41)
SDSU 47 - NSU 0 (47)
Tulane 27 - SLU 21 (6)
