North Dakota @ Idaho (sep 2)

Post by weberwildcat »

Did anyone see this game? It was on the Altitude. Idaho's facility should be an embarrassement to the WAC. Or if that is the bar for the WAC why would any FCS want to join?

UI was up 17-0 at halftime. To start the 2nd half they kicked an onsider which ND wasn't ready for an UI got it. The fans were cheering and I couldn't believe the Vandal team would do that. Does UI and its fans have no shame????

ND lost 45-0 in front of 11,000 fans.

Idaho's football gym looked about half empty.

Another weird thing was the football gym was so small there wasn't even room to have the goal posts mounted in the ground. They were hanging from the walls. There was a net behind the goal to catch the ball. I have no idea why when behind the net was a cement wall. Most of the kicks went above the net and bounced off the wall.

Have you ever been to Holt Arena? It's the same thing there. The posts are suspended.

Only UI would brag about beating a bad FCS team.

I listened on the radio. The gym seemed rather loud at times. As advertised, the no-huddle and pistol really opened things up for UND and their strength, which was/is by their own admission, the defense, got tested early. This game sends a huge signal to the rest of the division about the UND team. Unfortunately it doesnt tell us that much about Idaho except they did what they should do, beat up on the tomato cans.
Dear Lord, We come before you and humbly ask you to grant our prayer for a veil of protection to be placed over Donald Trump. May your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Yeah, the Kibbie was quite the place that us old time Big Sky fans can remember. Not a great place to play in when Nussmeier was leading the Vandals in the 80's. The fans made it very loud. Idaho is coming off of some lean years, making the transition from FCS (I-AA when they left) to the WAC. Once they get it going (and it may not be too far off), that place will get rocking again.
