What are your Sep 4th plans?

The D3 school I played for has a game Sept 4th at home. They are only 15 minutes north of Cedar Falls, so I'll probably head up there and catch the game and get a tour of the new facilities that were finished shortly after I left.

As many of our teams will be playing on the road at FBS, what are your plans? I think about half my conference is at an FBS team.

3. Then go see the New York Red Bulls play at Real Salt Lake at 7 pm.

Cool, we want to get down there for a game but when it comes to driving 500 miles Seattle wins out every time.

Flying into Chattanooga on Friday and spending the night with some college friends. We're getting up early Saturday morning and heading to Knoxville for the Vols game. Tailgate set up by 8:00 am, drunk by 10:00 am. Gonna watch the Vols stomp a mudhole in UT-Martin while checking on GSU scores on my phone. Pass out in a gutter somewhere after being denied by 10-12 UT chicks and hopefully making it back to Chattanooga in time on Sunday for my flight back to LAX.

A lot of McNeese fans would be mad at me but I am still trying to decide whether or not to drive to Lake Charles to go to the Lamar vs. McNeese game or stay in the Baton Rouge area where I live to watch Lamar at McNeese on the internet while also watching LSU vs. North Carolina on TV.

I graduated from McNeese and McNeese will always be my "first love" but I also pull for LSU as the State's "big time" football program and also my kids go there. When McNeese plays LSU I'll be pulling for McNeese but, doggone it, that LSU/North Carolina game is an interesting matchup.
