TSN Big Sky Preview

The Montana Grizzlies football program has an impressive track record: 24 consecutive winning seasons, a Football Championship Subdivision record 17 consecutive playoff appearances, 12 consecutive outright or co-Big Sky Conference titles and a Division I-leading 119 victories over the last 10 years.

This is success on an inspiring yet humbling scale. Inspiring to opponents motivated by showdowns with the best and humbling to those same opponents respectful of a legacy of dominance. Both as inspiring and as humbling as the open air and wondrous natural beauty from which Montana's conference draws its name: the Big Sky.

This year, Montana has been chosen in preseason coaches and media polls to capture its 13th straight Big Sky title. Montana has earned this level of respect. Patterns must be given credence, and Montana's pattern of 12 consecutive conference titles warrants faithful attention.

Still, no legacy comes without significant challenge. This season, Montana will look to keep its legacy intact sans Tim Hauck, its former head coach for seven seasons. Will new head coach Robin Pflugrad fulfill expectations and keep Montana's legacy intact?

I'd say flop WSU and Sac State and I have no qualms about it.

im not sure if weber will finish ahead of ISU, PSU or Sac, ISU and PSU were almost preseason ranked.

I know the preseason top 25 from TSN is kind of a joke but the same site that gave us their top 25 gave us a big sky review having the 3rd place team unranked but 4th and 5th are ranked. and 8th and 9th have votes to be ranked but 6th and 7th do not.

I would rather be picked 9th (minus the 15 votes too)
