Honestly, I don't really like LU's fight song, but GState's fight song makes me like ours a little bit more

Eh, seems perfectly average and forgettable to me, just like their logo change. Georgia State's goal seems to be to stand out as little as possible. I guess they're hoping that people will think that they were always here if they don't stand out. I'd rather have seen them do minor touch-up to their goofy but distinctive old logo and write a song that sounds like it was written in 2010. Guaranteed they'd be mocked by some no matter how it came out, but I'd respect the attempt. This is just boring. Maybe their uniforms should be blue shirts and khakis.

My thoughts exactly, it sounds like a typical fight song kind of tune but the ATL part is bad. Though i have a five year old son who loves Thomas the Tank Engine and i have to agree with the person that brought it up, parts of it do sound like a Thomas tune.

Per the title of this thread, when they got to that part and started spelling out G-A-.... I almost spit out my coffee. I think I would have died laughing if a "Y" had of popped up.

I dont have anything against GSU and to be honest, I dont think its that bad except for the "we're going to give them hell" part. It could be better, I just think the people singing it makes it sound comical.
