Wow, what a disappointment in the quality or should I say lack thereof of the streaming video broadcast of the event. It's well past time that the conference folks in Charlotte start acting like they are representatives of a FCS/AQ league and not of the blind sisters of mercy conference. Spend a few bucks and step it up guys.
No problem with the top two coaches picks for order of finish with Liberty and Stony Brook respectively but after that it was disappointing to see GWU tie league favorite Liberty with 8 selections on the Pre-Season All-Conference Squad and yet get picked to finish 5th out of 7. I can't figure out whether the other coaches are saying GWU's coaching staff can't coach, or whether the team is comprised of individuals who put I in front of we or just did a poor job of evaluating the players talent although I don't personally believe that any of these have a basis in reality. I'll venture that GWU will finish better than 5th and should the DL and QB positions play well, the Runnin Bulldogs avoid key injuries and the long road trips don't wear em down then they will surprise.
It would be nice to see em try to run the ball down some folks throats and if you can't do it at this level with Corey O-Daniel leading the way then it can't be done.
GWU Pre-Season All-Conference Selections
Offense
Corey O-Daniel - OL
Jamie Dunaway - OL
Patrick Hall - RB
James Tre Perry III - WR
Defense
Marty Patterson - LB (POY)
Jeffrey Williams - LB
Cedric McGowan - CB
Special Teams
Tyson Petty - KR
Predicted Order of Finish
Liberty
Stony Brook
Coastal Carolina
Charleston Southern
Gardner-Webb
VMI
Presbyterian
Go Runnin Bulldogs

It starts with replacing the lousy douchebag of a "commissioner" we have. There are too many good people in smaller roles in other FCS conferences that could come in and absolutely do a 1000% better job than Kallander. To think he was actually commissioner of the now defunct Southwest Conference at one point is quite mind boggling.EagleDawg wrote:Wow, what a disappointment in the quality or should I say lack thereof of the streaming video broadcast of the event.
