To alight any fears...if I am in anyway uncomfortable with my ability to drive (or my wife is), my wife will drive us the quarter mile, uninhabited road from the Convo parking lot to the Days Inn. Many, many Montana fans buy EWU season tickets for when we travel to that game to be sure to have good seats for that game. They normally give the rest away to kid's groups in Spokane and so forth. Me and a buddy did it a couple of times back in the early part of the decade. That's been going on for at least 20 yrs.

Well that, and our Athletic Dept. won't sell you single game tickets until Sept. 1 unless you're a part of the EAA, which requires a minimum $120 yearly donation. It's retarded. You can easily get tickets still past Sept. 1, but they want you to 'ensure' you get good seats by joining the EAA or forcing you to buy season tickets.

I know for sure I'm going to that game too, because it's the day before opening day Hawks/Niners and I'm going to that one. If it is included, I'll take both adult tickets for that game if I don't end up just purchasing season tickets anyway. Actually, I'll take them regardless, I'm sure a couple friends that are also coming to the Hawks/Niners game wouldn't mind seeing EWU beat up on Central. That is some of it but the road to Spokane is pretty packed on Friday afternoon before the game. The ratio is 50/50 and I ain't kidding sometimes it seems like Griz outnumber Eagles. EWU played quite a few games in Joe Albi stadium in the early 2000's because there were so many MT fans that they wanted to capitalize and accomodate as many as they could. I haven't looked but I bet all of their top 5 games in attendance are against the Griz.

You guys traveled well to Greeley too. I don't think you outnumbered us, but it was close. I doubt it will be close this year as we play you guys on our homecoming game. Of course that's usually our highest attended game. With the exception of last year because there was a snow storm that game.
