If you've never been to a OSU game in Columbus I would recommend it highly. It is a special place and the fans are really great host to outsiders. W&M/JMU could be a fun FCS day.

My truly special places to experience a college football game would include Ohio State, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and any game in the Rose Bowl. I loved them all. Hated my Michigan experience and my PAC10 games were OK, but not special. Still have yet to do anything in the SEC however or Bozeman.

Wofford is visiting The Rock that day in a game that could certainly have SoCon and playoff implications. Fresh mountain air and the best place to be in the carolinas that weekend.

15-35 bucks depending on when you get tix...before the game, at the tailgates before game, right at kickoff...or you might get them free if you show up and go drinking the night before....who knows.

Here is what you have to do to get tix. If it is just going to be you or you and a friend coming out you just need to post a thingy here a couple weeks before the game and make sure you PM Ursus/myself and there will be a ticket or two waiting for you when you show up. That is usually how things go. Ask Ursus, but that is how stuff usually gets handled.


Or if you want to sit some place you can always go onto Egriz.com and under the tix section you can post that you will be coming out and need tix for which ever game and you will get emails/pms.

If it's several then you ain't got a good chance there.

I'll submit this in your decision making...seeing this game live in this stadium will put you in rarified air that few get a chance or have the knowledge to make an attempt at seeing.

If I had a free weekend pass to see any other game on that weekend I would stay and watch the Griz/Cat game without even thinking about it. In fact I'd be insulted that it was offered.

Definitely fly your colors. Ask Appa. I don't think he had to pull his wallet out until Saturday night when he came. Of course when he did he put a hurtin' on some plastic...he was so appreciative of the gratis that he bought a lot of girls drinks that night.

Normally, I would be a homer and tell you how the JMU/W&M will probably have playoff implications for at least one and probably both teams. But, if I were in your shoes, I don't think I would pass up the opportunity to see a game at Montana. That's one of the places on my short FCS list of places to go.

Celebrate your birthday on THAT day. Come to Missoula and experience a FCS game as close to the big time as you can get. BTW, if you're sober enough after the half-time tailgates, try to get back for the 3rd quarter kickoff. If you opt for the UM/ND game, better get your tickets & esp. room reservations now. I imagine rooms are already in short supply, as Griz fans get them locked up months in advance. (A lot of Griz fans are from out of town.)

Yeah, rooms are definitely what you want to get on early. I know when Cleets and Wedgebuster and the boys came over a couple years ago they had their rooms reserved in May and there were very few left on that weekend even reserving 4-5 months in advance.
