I want to say that Adam Sandler refused to wear anything with Maine because he grew up in New Hampshire. I heard that from a friend who watched some interview with him. Also I believe he wore a UMASS shirt at one point too. He usually tries to do something to show he was raised in New England in almost all of his movies. (Boston Bruins Jersey in Happy Gilmore)
