Very early conference and national title predictions
So let's hear it.
Who will win their respective conferences, and who will win the FCS national title?

Montana loses the NC to William & Mary (I figure they're the next CAA team in the barrel).

It's tough to repeat, but Nover has as good a chance as anyone.

Liberty wins the Big South Conference championship and makes a good run in the playoffs but no championship game this year

Nope. Ain't happenin'. That ain't the way the CAA is wired.93henfan wrote:It's tough to repeat, but Nover has as good a chance as anyone.

You may be right. Btw, your prediction of a Montana runner-up finish is really going out on a limb there, Nostradamus.AZGrizFan wrote:Nope. Ain't happenin'. That ain't the way the CAA is wired.93henfan wrote:It's tough to repeat, but Nover has as good a chance as anyone.

I'll be pulling for The Citadel and Furman, but I don't think they'll do it this year (definitely not a run at the national title).

I love the FCS playoffs, and I just wish the FBS would get rid of the BCS BS.

If not Nova, then you'll probably be playing Maine in the NC game. Don't think 2010 will be the Tribe's year.AZGrizFan wrote:Montana loses the NC to William & Mary (I figure they're the next CAA team in the barrel).

Towson beats UNI 31-17 and I pay a visit to my good friend clenzy for a CS.com video taping.
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

Any thoughts on how The Citadel and Furman might do this season?

Re: Very early conference and national title predictions
Going to have to go with my Thunderbirds to take the Great West in 2010 and also get an at large playoff bid to boot. I really feel that this will be our year to finally get a winning season in the FCS ranks. Hats off to Ed Lamb for doing a hell of a job rebuilding the program.

Furman better be at least 8-3.TigerStripe wrote:Any thoughts on how The Citadel and Furman might do this season?
Citadel was 4-7 last year ( I think) and switching to the TO isn't going to help this year (of course one of their 4 was against us which is one of the reasons we had better be 8-3 this year
