HS: Graduated from Judge Memorial HS in 2009. Earned second team All-State honors from the Deseret News on both the offensive and defensive line. He helped lead Judge Memorial to a 6-6 record and an appearance in the quarterfinals of the State 3A Playoffs in Utah. He finished the season with 78 total tackles and six sacks. Name is pronounced "kuh-toe-uh."
Came to Portland State as an offensive lineman, but also being considered at tight end this season... has excellent size and mobility for the position.
